Abstract: The present invention includes portions or extracts of any kind, which can be obtained from the plant Vitex agnus-castus (monk pepper) and can be used as repellent against bothersome, lymph-and/or blood-sucking, skin penetrating, respectively food, storage materials—or plant—damaging arthropods (mites, ticks, insects). Thus, this repellent protects the health of humans, pet animals and livestock, plants and stored materials.
