The method includes receiving an indication that a first user is interested in speaking with one or more other users, saving the one or more other users to a first selection list, determining that a second user of the one or more other users is interested in speaking with the first user, and upon and in response to the determination, generating an audio discussion forum including the first user and the second user.

Abstract: An asynchronous audio discussion system may provide a set of users with access to an asynchronous audio discussion forum, receive first voice data at a first time, and receive second voice data at a second time that is later than the first time. The asynchronous audio discussion system may generate a first voice entry based on the first voice data and a second voice entry based on the second voice data. The asynchronous audio discussion system may provide, within the asynchronous audio discussion forum, the first voice entry and the second voice entry for playback by one or more users included in the set of users.

Abstract: An online discussion forum (ODF) system includes processing circuitry configured to create and deploy a smart contract to a blockchain that establishes a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) associated with a community with at least one of the ODF participants identified as a managing member, and associate a treasury with the DAO into which payments of the membership fee are deposited, receive a proposal from one of the platform clients to make a payment from the treasury to a recipient, in response to receiving the proposal to make a payment from the treasury to the recipient, send, to the platform client of the managing member of the DAO, a request for a vote on whether to approve the proposal, receive a reply message containing information on the vote from the platform client of the managing member, and determine whether to make the payment according to the proposal based on the vote.

Abstract: A method for operating a social club within an online discussion forum. The method includes receiving at least one first parameter for the social club, establishing, at a first time, the social club with a configuration based on the at least one first parameter, determining, at a second time, a member count of the social club, comparing the member count to at least one threshold, automatically selecting at least one second parameter for the social club based on a result of the comparison, and updating the configuration of the social club based on the at least one second parameter.
