Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for managing and setting many network devices, and the method is applied in a network management system. The network management system includes a management server and a plurality of network devices. The management server searches a network device connected to the management server and specifies one of the network devices connected to the management server as a master network device, and then searches all network devices that can be connected to the master network device. The searched network devices are set as candidate network devices and at least one candidate network device is set as a slave network device of the master network device, such that a single IP address of the master network device can be used for managing the slave network devices, and the management server can be used for managing many network devices distributed at different places.

Abstract: A video/audio broadcasting system and customized video/audio broadcasting method selects a corresponding graphic user interface among multiple graphic user interfaces according to an operation of a user on the video/audio broadcasting system, and uses the corresponding graphic user interface to operate the video/audio broadcasting system, for receiving and broadcasting corresponding contents of a video/audio signal.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a network system for transmitting various signals and power, which comprises at least a power sourcing equipment and at least a powered device over a network. Each of the power sourcing equipment and the powered device has at least a port, wherein a first isolated conductor is disposed at one side of the port while a second isolated conductor is disposed at the other side of the port and creates a power circuit for transmitting power in combination with the first isolated conductor. Four differential signal pairs of the port, each with two conductors, are disposed between the first isolated conductor and the second isolated conductor, wherein each of the power sourcing equipment and the powered device transmits Ethernet signals through two of the differential signal pairs of its port and transmits other network signals through the other two differential signal pairs.

Abstract: A setting and modifying method of a user operating interface is used between a user device and a digital audio/video signal receiving and processing device through a network. The setting and modifying method includes the following steps. Firstly, the user device acquires a first user operating interface setting information from the digital audio/video signal receiving and processing device. Then, the contents of the first user operating interface setting information are modified to generate a second user operating interface setting information. Afterwards, the second user operating interface setting information is transmitted from the user device to the digital audio/video signal receiving and processing device through the network for setting the user operating interface.

Abstract: The present invention applies management frame defined in IEEE 802.11 standard to a wireless distribution system (WDS) mode by adding an information element (IE) into the management frame, which enables any access point (AP) in WDS to maintain IE based on its own setting and state, then send IE via the management frame for providing state of the AP under WDS mode, determine whether a physical link (i.e., a wireless link between APs) should be established therewith based on received IE, and maintain the established physical link through the wireless management frame in a real time manner. Thus, the existence and necessity of the physical link between different APs in WDS can be determined correctly.

Abstract: A power line adapter and its controlling method to be operated in a power-saving mode are disclosed. The power line adapter includes a power-transmitting module for generating a DC supply voltage and a data-transmitting module for transmitting data. Furthermore, the data-transmitting module at least includes a power line communication circuit and an Ethernet physical layer transceiver. The controlling method comprises steps of: monitoring a link signal generated by the Ethernet physical layer transceiver when the power line adapter is operated in an active mode; and, disconnecting the DC supply voltage to the power line communication circuit and entering the power-saving mode if the link signal indicates a disconnection over a first time period.

The power control unit is electrically connected with the connecting ports for transmitting electrical power to the connecting ports. The micro controller is connected with the time generator, the storage medium and the power control unit. According to the power schedule table read out from the storage medium by the micro controller and the time information generated by the time generator, a power-outputting status of the power control unit is controlled by the micro controller.

Abstract: A self-configured network system includes a server including a plurality of columns. Each column records therein correlation of a domain name to a corresponding network addressing information. An internet protocol device is built therein a preset domain name and acquires an updated network addressing information in the internet. The preset domain name is previously recorded in a specified column of the server. The internet protocol device transfers the preset domain name and the updated network addressing information to the server via the internet so as to locate the specified column and replace the corresponding network addressing information with the updated network addressing information. Abstract: The present invention discloses an apparatus and a method for determining the voltage level of a first signal from a playback device having an interface in compliance with an industrial standard. According to the method, first receive the first signal by a signal receiving pin electrically coupled to a signal transmitting pin of the interface. Then output a first output voltage by processing the first signal by the combination of a first zener diode and a first transistor and a second output voltage by processing the first signal by the combination of a second zener diode and a second transistor. Thus the voltage level of the first signal can be determined according to the first output voltage and the second output voltage.
