  • Patent number: 12395181
Abstract: Methods and systems and method for calibrating a time-interleaved Analog to Digital Converter (TIADC) are disclosed. In an example, a method for calibrating a TIADC involves a first calibration phase that involves adjusting for at least one of offset error, gain error, and time skew of M subchannels of the TIADC, and a second calibration phase that is implemented after the first calibration phase and that involves training a neural network to approximate a non-linear function of each of the M subchannels of the TIADC using an output from a reference channel as a ground truth.

  • Patent number: 12283968
Abstract: Analog-to-information converter and method for performing analog-to-information conversion samples and down-converts N samples of an input multi-band signal using M analog sampling filters or samplers, where N is less than M. The N samples of the input multi-band signal are digitized to produce N digital samples of the input multi-band signal, which are multiplexed into M digital samples of the input multi-band signal. The M digital samples are up-converted and filtered at M digital reconstruction filters to produce a digital multi-band signal, which is processed at a processing unit to obtain information contained in the digital multi-band signal.

  • Patent number: 12105195
Abstract: Collision avoidance is an important issue for unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs). As such, UAVs can be outfitted with a simple and inexpensive sensor for use in collision avoidance. The sensor can be attached to a gimbal and can include a RADAR transmit antenna, a RADAR receive antenna, and an optical camera. The RADAR transmit antenna and RADAR receive antenna are part of a RADAR system. The optical camera and the RADAR system are bore sighted to one another by aligning their fields of view. The optical camera captures an image of a target when the RADAR system indicates the target is in the field of view. The RADAR system and image data can be used to determine a target trajectory. The target trajectory can be used to avoid a collision with the target.
