In response to the pressing operation by a first stroke amount, by the operating force transmitted to the pressing detection switch without transmitted to the engaged portion, the pressing detection switch is pressed. In response to the pressing operation by a second stroke amount greater than the first stroke amount, by the operating force applied to the first knob being transmitted to the engaged portion, the engaged portion elastically deforms, and engagement of the engaging/engaged portions is released.

Abstract: In an air-outlet unit that forms an air outlet of an air conditioner in an automobile, a light-emission control unit controls, in accordance with the airflow rate of the air conditioner that is obtained from an air-conditioning control device of the automobile, an LED driving unit that drives an LED array in such a manner that the amount of light that is emitted from the LED array and that activates a photocatalytic filter increases as the airflow rate of the air conditioner increases. The light that is emitted from the LED array is visible light, and some of the light that is reflected by the photocatalytic filter transmits to an area outside of the air-outlet unit by passing through fins that adjust the direction and the flow rate of the air blown by the air-outlet unit.

Abstract: In a speaker distortion correction device, an input signal passes through a nonlinear-portion correction filter and is input into a linear inverse filter. An output signal from the linear inverse filter is output into a speaker through an amplifier. For the nonlinear-portion correction filter, transfer characteristics (filter coefficients) are set that eliminate distortion due to nonlinear characteristics of the speaker. With a difference, as an error, between vibration of the speaker without distortion relative to an input signal and vibration of a vibration system of the speaker measured by a vibration measurement unit, an adaptive-algorithm execution unit performs an adaptive operation that adaptively updates filter coefficients of the linear inverse filter.

Abstract: One form of a display device of the present disclosure includes a first optical structure and a second optical structure stacked on the first optical structure. The first optical structure includes a light source, a light guide layer, a reflection layer, and a half mirror, and a light diffusion surface for generating a design of a multiple image that is formed on a bottom portion of the light guide layer. The second optical structure includes a light source, a light guide layer, a retroreflective layer, and a half mirror, and a light diffusion surface for generating a design of the aerial image is formed on a bottom portion of the light guide layer. The aerial image and the multiple image are simultaneously observed from the viewpoint of the user, and a sense of depth or a stereoscopic effect can be imparted to the aerial image.
