Patents Assigned to ALSTROM TRANSPORT TECHNOLOGIES
  • Patent number: 11161529
Abstract: Disclosed is a railway vehicle with a car and a bogie. The bogie includes a chassis and a secondary suspension system. The secondary suspension system includes a jack and a power supply device of the jack fluidly connected to the jack by at least one flow limiter. The jack is configured to go from a first so-called passive configuration, in which the supply device is inactive, the jack then being able to passively damp the oscillations between the car and the chassis using the flow limiter, to a second so-called active configuration in which the supply device is configured to supply the jack in order to modify the distance between the car and the chassis or in order to keep the distance constant between the car and the chassis.

  • Patent number: 9701327
Abstract: A sensor for monitoring the current flowing in a wire of a circuit is provided. The sensor includes a variable inductance contactless current detector to sense the current flowing in the wire, serially connected to an internal power source and a resistor to form a voltage divider circuit. The sensor also includes a voltage detector to monitor the voltage level across the resistor and generate an output signal. A system is also provided.

  • Patent number: 9695892
Abstract: A compressible filler piece for a brake calliper of a railway vehicle is adapted to at least partially fill out a space needed by a component (409) of the brake calliper for its operation. The filler piece can be applied to the protection of wheel brakes of low floor passenger trains against ice and snow.

  • Patent number: 9266544
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transferring alarm data between a first broken-down train (A) and a control center (2) comprising: evaluating the state of the first train; and then the state of the first train corresponding to a break down; determining if it is possible to establish a first link between the first train and a ground infrastructure (1) connected to the center; if not, establishing a backup radio link between first independent communication means (50) of the first train and second independent communication means (50?) of a second train rolling in the vicinity of the first train; transferring the alarm data concerning the first train and storing the same into storage means of the second train; establishing a second link between the second train and the ground infrastructure and transferring the alarm data concerning the first train from the second train to the center.
