  • Patent number: 8218008
Abstract: A method of displaying a shot image on a car reverse video system is described, which is applicable for adjusting an image displaying angle of the car reverse video system with a fixed lens according to a distance from an obstacle. Firstly, a scene image behind the car is shot through using the lens. Then, a distance detector is activated to detect a distance from the obstacle behind the car. If the distance from the obstacle is smaller than a preset distance, a scaling ratio is set according to a ratio of the preset distance to the distance from the obstacle. Finally, according to the scaling ratio and a distance between each pixel in the scene image and a reference point, all pixel pitches are adjusted, such that the scene image is deformed, and thus achieving an effect of switching a viewing angle of the scene image.

Abstract: A method for capturing a three dimensional (3D) image by using a single-lens camera is provided. First, a first image is captured. According to a focus distance of the single-lens camera in capturing the first image and an average distance between two human eyes, an overlap width between the first image and a second image required for capturing the second image of the 3D image is calculated. Then, the first image and a real-time image captured by the single-lens camera are displayed, and an overlap area is marked on the first image according to the calculated overlap width. A horizontal shift of the single-lens camera is adjusted, to locate the real-time image in the overlap area. Finally, the real-time image is captured as the second image, and the first and second images are output as the 3D image.

Abstract: A method for detecting streak noises in a digital image including the following steps is provided. Firstly, an exposure value of a camera is decreased, and a digital image is captured under exposure with a homogeneous background light source by the camera. Secondly, a circular region of interest (ROI) is extracted from the digital image. Next, projection values of the circular ROI corresponding to a plurality of rotation angles are calculated. Then, the projection values are respectively converted into amplitudes of the rotation angles. Afterwards, a maximum amplitude is found from the amplitudes. Finally, the maximum amplitude is compared with a threshold value to judge whether a streak noise exists in the digital image.
