Abstract: A method of displaying an advertisement on a display of a mobile communication terminal is provided. According to the method of displaying the advertisement, advertisement data is received through a wireless Internet network. The received advertisement data is compared with advertisement data stored in a storage device of a mobile communication terminal, to thus update the received advertisement data. It is determined whether the mobile communication terminal is activated and advertisement data to be displayed on a display of the mobile communication terminal is selected from the storage device according to the determination result. The selected advertisement data is displayed on the display of the mobile communication terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for displaying an electronic program guide on a screen of a digital television. A hundred of channels are classified by category, and representative functions of the EPG are classified into few categories. When searching the classified channels and programs, a time axis and a channel axis are arrange on the screen by being displayed in a vertical direction of the screen. By storing the searched channel once time in a predetermined device, the stored information can be used when searching the searched channel again.

The contents data transmitted from a digital broadcast network is received by the tuner of a server, is stored in a database, and is re-edited if necessary. The edited contents data is transmitted to the computer terminal of a user through the Internet network. The user views the contents data for digital broadcasting using the computer terminal. The server receives the contents data through the digital broadcast network, divides the received contents data by broadcast channels, stores the divided contents data in the database, and transmits the stored contents data to the user through the Internet network.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of sequently displaying advertisement on a television screen and a digital broadcasting set-top box for performing the same. The set-top box includes a tuning section for tuning a radio frequency digital broadcasting stream, a demultiplexer for separating an audio data, a video data, and an information data from the radio frequency digital broadcasting stream, a decoding section for decoding the information data, a storing section for temporary storing the decoded information data, an advertisement data processing section for searching an advertisement data among the decoded data storing in the storing section, updating the searched advertisement data, and confirming a displaying time of the advertisement data, a graphic processing section for converting the advertisement data processed by the advertisement data processing section and the information data to an image data, and a synthesizing section for synthesizing the image data and a video data decode by a media decoder.
