  • Patent number: 4974269
Abstract: A partition for a corner or circular shower, comprising at least one stationary wall-element adapted to be connected to a wall, at least one guide-rail which on the one hand is connected to the wall-element and is carried by the wall-element, and on the other hand, extends over an entrance-area located at one side of the wall-element, and at least one door-element adapted to move along the guide-rail in order to open and close the entrance-area, this guide-rail and the door-element being curved. At least one pivot-lever has one end hinged to the one door-element, and this pivot-lever, in a closed position of the door-element, lies adjacent, behind and substantially in parallel with the wall-element. The pivot-lever has another end remote from the door-element which is secured to the wall-element.

  • Patent number: 4965894
Abstract: A mixing device, for showers or baths, contains a mixing fitting to which hot and cold water may be fed and which comprises an element for adjusting the mixing ratio. The mixing device is to be developed so that, although the design thereof is simple, a preparation may be added to the mixed water. To this end there is provided an electronic control-unit and an input-unit which, for the purpose of actuating a storage-unit comprises at least one container for the accommodation of the preparation. Also, there is provided a supply device, preferably in the form of a pump, by means of which, upon actuating the input unit, the preparation may be released from the dispenser through lines, more particularly flexible tubes.

  • Patent number: 4914770
Abstract: A shower-partition comprising a wall-element consisting, more particularly, of an at least partly transparent material which is to be arranged against the wall of a room. The object is to provide, at a low structural cost, a stable attachment of the wall-element to the wall of the room, and the alignment of the wall-element in a simple manner. In order to accomplish this, the wall-element is secured to the stationary wall of the room by means of a crosspiece which comprises a first support-surface for the wall-element and a second support-surface for the wall of the room. The support-surfaces is preferably arranged at right angles to each other.

  • Patent number: 4913578
Abstract: A connection arrangement with profiled parts contains, in at least one hollow chamber in a profiled part, a connecting element by means of which a connection with the other profile part is effected. The purpose of the invention is to provide, at low manufacturing cost, a reliable connection and to eliminate any after-treatment of surfaces in the vicinity of the connection. It is proposed that the connecting element be secured to the web of the first profiled part and that a length thereof projects, prior to welding, beyond the front surface; and that, after welding, the weld-zone be arranged in the hollow-chamber in the second profiled part and be at a distance from the adjacent front surfaces of the profiled parts.

  • Patent number: 4897889
Abstract: A shower-partition contains a pivoted door which is hinged to a compensating section by means of hinges. The compensating section is secured, in such a manner as to be horizontally adjustable, to a second profiled rail by means of connecting elements. It is proposed to make it possible to align the pivoted door both horizontally and vertically in a simple manner, with little increase in production costs. The compensating section shall comprise an open longitudinal groove which faces the pivoted door and comprises an undercut for attachment of the hinge-holders. The compensating section is adapted to be aligned vertically, jointly with the pivoted door, in relation to the second profiled rail, the compensating section and/or the holder of the lower hinge being mounted upon the floor or the upper edge of a shower-tub.
