  • Patent number: 7159379
Abstract: A sewing thread made of synthetic fibers having an elongation at a break between 25% and 85% and an elastic tensile elongation of between 30% and 95% of the elongation, determined by a measuring strength, corresponding to 70% of the absolute strength of the respective sewing thread.

  • Patent number: 6905764
Abstract: A sewing thread made of synthetic fibers is described, whereby the ready-to-use sewing thread has an elongation at break between 25% and 85% and an elastic tensile elongation of between 30% and 95% of the elongation, determined by a measuring strength, corresponding to 70% of the absolute strength of the respective sewing thread. In addition, two methods for making a sewing thread are also described, whereby the sewing thread comprises either a plied yarn or an air-intermingled sewing thread. To produce this sewing thread yarn components with an elongation at break between 25% and 85% and an elastic tensile elongation of between 30% and 95% are selected, whereby thermal and preferably hydrothermal treatment is carried out after the actual yarn production.

  • Patent number: 6796151
Abstract: A method and a device for dyeing a textile substrate in at least one supercritical fluid, are described, whereby the textile substrate is arranged in an autoclave, where at least one supercritical fluid loaded with a dyestuff flows over and/or through the textile substrate, and the at least one powdered dyestuff is brought in contact with the supercritical fluid, forming a stable solution and/or dispersion of the dyestuff in the supercritical fluid. The quantity of dyestuff required for dyeing is divided into a plurality of dyestuff partial quantities, and each partial quantity of dyestuff is separately brought in contact with the supercritical fluid until this partial quantity of dyestuff is dissolved or dispersed. Hereafter the next partial quantity of dyestuff is introduced into the supercritical fluid, and this process is repeated several times until the total quantity of dyestuff has been introduced into the supercritical fluid.

  • Patent number: 6546711
Abstract: A sewing yarn comprises at least two roving yarns, which are twisted together with one another, whereby each roving yarn has the structure of a core yarn, comprising at least one first multifilament yarn component, forming a yarn core, and a second fiber yarn component spun over the core. In the cross-section of the sewing yarn, the fiber yarn thread covering of at least one roving yarn contains less than 41 individual fibers. For the manufacture of each roving yarn, a slubbing made of fiber yarns is compacted to 10 to 25 times of the volume of the roving yarns, introduced into a spinning device with the multifilament yarn component serving as the core, and is spun in said device, with at least two roving yarns being thereafter twisted together with one another.
