Abstract: An indication to perform a permissions policy search may be received by an interface of an identity management service. A context may be determined associated with the permissions policy search. A plurality of weights for a plurality of permissions policies may be calculated based on the context. An order for display of the plurality of permissions policies may be determined based on the plurality of weights. The plurality of permissions policies may be presented, in a display area within the interface, in the order that is based on the plurality of weights. A selection of a first permissions policy from the plurality of permissions policies may be received by the interface. The first permissions policy may be attached to a first identity based at least in part on the selection of the first permissions policy.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for automatic archiving of data store log data are disclosed. One or more operation records in a log are selected for archival. The one or more operation records comprise data indicative of operations performed on one or more data objects of a data store. The one or more operation records are selected for archival prior to deletion from the log. The one or more operation records are replicated from the log to an archive. Based at least in part on the replicating, the one or more operation records in the log are marked as archived. Based at least in part on the marking as archived, the deletion of the one or more operation records from the log is permitted.

Abstract: Techniques for joining a device of a third user to a communication between a device of a first user and a device of a second user are described herein. For instance, two or more users may utilize respective computing devices to engage in a telephone call, a video call, an instant-messaging session, or any other type of communication in which the users communicate with each other audibly and/or visually. In some instances, a first user of the two users may issue a voice command requesting to join a device of a third user to the communication. One or more computing devices may recognize this voice command and may attempt to join a device of a third user to the communication.

Abstract: Systems and processes are described for establishing and using a secure channel. A shared secret may be used for authentication of session initiation messages as well as for generation of a private/public key pair for the session. A number of ways of agreeing on the shared secret are described and include pre-sharing the keys, reliance on a key management system, or via a token mechanism that uses a third entity such as a hub to manage authentication, for example. In some instances, the third party may also perform endpoint selection (e.g., load balancing) by providing a particular endpoint along with the token.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for determining a synthetic audible utterance regarding a product, processing the audible utterance via a catalog service to determine a result and determining the relevance of the result and/or success of the catalog service for benchmarking, marketing, and catalog service improvement purposes. The audible utterance may be based on the product and/or product information as well as an intended action to be performed by the catalog service corresponding to the synthetic utterance. A relevance score may be generated using an embedding algorithm to determine the accuracy and/or appropriateness of the action performed by the catalog service.

Abstract: An optical system includes a circular lens having a first set of electrodes arranged in a concentric pattern and a liquid crystal material in electrical communication with the first set of electrodes. The optical system also includes a first cylindrical lens having a vertical meridian and a second set of electrodes oriented along an axis parallel to the vertical meridian. The optical system additionally includes a second cylindrical lens having a third set of electrodes oriented at an angle with respect to the axis.

Abstract: Various embodiments are disclosed for predicting true demand of network services that impose usage constraints. A computing environment may be configured to provide a network service for a user account, where a usage constraint for the network service is imposed on the user account. A truncated usage distribution of the network service may be generated based on usage history data. A demand curve of the network service may be generated for the user account, where the demand curve comprises at least a portion of the truncated usage distribution and a predicted usage of the at least one network service beyond the usage constraint. One or more actions may be performed based on the demand curve, such as increasing the usage constraint.

Abstract: Online restore may be performed between databases with different topologies while applying a custom data distribution. A request to restore a database into a different topology of nodes may be received. A plan to move different portions of the database from a current topology to the new topology made using a general distribution scheme. The plan may be performed to move the different portions of the database into the new topology and the database made available for access using the new topology. A background process may be applied to modify the distribution of the database at the new topology to match a custom distribution scheme that was implemented at the current topology.

Abstract: A circuit board can be configured to access features and controls associated with a third-party circuit board. One or more spring-loaded pins or other connectors can contact one or more interaction points of the third-party circuit boards and form a connection. The circuit board can include a common or generic interface that the connections with the third-party circuit board are routed through by the circuit board. The generic interface can then connect the circuit board and third-party circuit board to external power sources, telecommunication devices, and connection ports. Based on the connection between the circuit board and the third-party circuit board, a user device can be assigned to and remotely access the features and controls of the third-party circuit board.

Abstract: A descriptor of a dynamically materialized view is stored. The descriptor includes a query to select a subset of cells from a data sheet, and a result of executing the query. In response to an update directed to the data sheet, the result stored in the descriptor is modified based on re-executing the query, and a notification is transmitted to an execution platform at which an application whose output depends on the dynamically materialized view runs.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for evaluation of application interactions and associated metadata to manage application feature experiments, use of synthetic traffic (“canaries”), and the like. Data regarding application interactions and associated application metadata may be evaluated to identify usage patterns and conditions associated with desired actions, and usage patterns and conditions associated with undesired actions. Identifying such usage patterns and conditions can facilitate prediction of future actions given some set of observed application interactions and application metadata. Such predictions can be leveraged to perform experiments that optimize the occurrence of desired actions, and implement canaries to determine the effect of various user journeys and application data on desired actions.

Abstract: A checkpoint containing identifiers of input blocks of an utterance directed to a dialog-driven application from a client-side component is generated at a dialog-driven application management service. After a connectivity failure and subsequent connectivity re-establishment between the client-side component and the service, a plurality if input blocks including at least some re-transmitted blocks is received at the service. The checkpoint is used to identify at least one input block for which further processing is not performed.

Abstract: A phonetic search system may pass phonetic information from an automatic speech recognition (ASR) system to a natural language understanding (NLU) system for the latter to leverage when performing entity resolution in the presence of ambiguous interpretations. The ASR system may include an acoustic model and a language model. The acoustic model can process audio data to generate hypotheses that can be mapped to acoustic data; i.e., one or more acoustic units such as phonemes. The language model can process the acoustic units to generate text data representing possible transcriptions of the audio data. ASR/NLU systems may have difficulty interpreting speech when confronted with, for example, homographs, which are words that are spelled the same, but have different meanings. When uncertainty in the final transcription is high, the system can leverage the acoustic data to improve the accuracy of entity resolution.

Abstract: In one example, a non-transitory computer readable medium stores instructions that, when executed by one or more hardware processors, cause the one or more hardware processors to: load a first weight data element of an array of weight data elements from a memory into a systolic array; select a subset of input data elements from the memory into the systolic array to perform first computations of a dilated convolution operation, the subset being selected based on a rate of the dilated convolution operation and coordinates of the weight data element within the array of weight data elements; and control the systolic array to perform the first computations based on the first weight data element and the subset to generate first output data elements of an output data array. An example of a compiler that generates the instructions is also provided.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for automated identification and mapping of objects in video content. Example methods may include determining a first set of frames in video content, determining, using one or more object recognition algorithms, a first object present in the first set of frames, determining that a first product corresponding to the first object is present in a product catalog comprising a set of product images, associating a first product identifier of the first product with a video identifier of the video content, and causing presentation of a set of product identifiers associated with the video identifier.

Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for generating confidence scores for boosting-based tree machine learning models. In various examples, a first record comprising a plurality of input variables may be received. In another example, a boosting-based tree machine learning model may generate, for the first record, a base model score. In various examples, the base model score may be generated based on the plurality of input variables and the base model score may represent a likelihood that the first record is associated with a first class. In some examples, a score confidence machine learning model may generate a confidence score for the first record. The confidence score may indicate a confidence in the base model score. In various examples, the first record may be processed based at least in part on the confidence score.

Abstract: A system and method for network channel selection is provided. A device includes WIFI, ZIGBEE, and BLUETOOTH communication controllers. The device's processor is configured to determine, using the communication controllers, a WIFI channel designated for communications and a first set of ZIGBEE channels designated for communications. The processor is configured to determine that a number of available BLUETOOTH channels that do not overlap the WIFI channel or any in-use ZIGBEE channels is less than a threshold number of BLUETOOTH channels required for communication using a BLUETOOTH protocol. The processor then determines the WIFI channel has a minimum duty cycle from among duty cycles of the WIFI channel and each ZIGBEE channel, determines a first BLUETOOTH channel that at least partially overlaps the WIFI channel, and causes the BLUETOOTH communication controller to transmit data using the first BLUETOOTH channel.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for efficient query execution on distributed data sets, such as in the context of data lakes. In at least one embodiment, indexing information is used to identify candidate and non-candidate portions of a data set. Non-candidate portions may be irrelevant to the query. Indexing information can be encoded using Bloom filters.

Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for ranking of search results. In some examples, a query may be received. A first ranked list of content items may be determined for the query ranked based on a first optimization objective. A second ranked list of the content items may be determined for the query ranked based on a second optimization objective. A first rank product may be determined for a first content item based at least in part on multiplication of a rank of the first content item in the first ranked list with a rank of the first content item in the second ranked list. A third ranked list of the content items may be determined based at least in part on the first rank product. At least a portion of the third ranked list of the content items may be displayed on a display.
