  • Publication number: 20210051381
Abstract: Described are method and system embodiments for monitoring segmentation messages of a digital video stream. In some embodiments, a method is performed at an electronic device with a display and operated by a user. The method includes monitoring the digital video stream for segmentation messages and detecting a segmentation message in the digital video stream. Then, a validity of the detected segmentation message is determined based on a previously-detected segmentation message. The user is notified of the determined validity of the segmentation message using the display.

  • Publication number: 20200351548
Abstract: System and method embodiments are described that enable generation of an electronic content schedule. In a method embodiment, one or more data files including TV viewing data and descriptive data of a plurality of individuals are received. Target audience criteria, target TV content, and criteria for key performance indicators (KPIs) are received. KPIs for a target segment are tracked. Spot watching probabilities for each individual in the target segment are calculated. A plurality of spot packages is generated based on the target TV content. For each spot package, a probabilistic segment is generated based on the spot watching probabilities and a plurality of KPIs are calculated. Scores corresponding to the spot packages are generated based on the plurality of KPIs and based on tracked KPIs of the target segment. The content schedule is generated by selecting a spot package selected from the plurality of spot packages based on the scores.

  • Publication number: 20200350727
Abstract: Contact device adapted to be inserted between two contact surfaces of two conductors of an electrical connection provided with at least one bolt, the device being formed by a metal foam plate to reduce electrical resistance of the connection. The surface area of the metal foam plate is at least equal to the surface area in contact with the two conductors, and is approximately 1 to 2 mm thick. The metal foam plate includes at least one circular opening intended to contain the bolt and at least one first pre-cut located between the opening and an outer edge of the contact device. The pre-cut is made by cutting the foam plate over a part of its thickness so that it can be easily broken along the pre-cut, the pre-cut allowing the bolt to be passed through it during the installation of the contact device.

  • Patent number: 10728625
Abstract: Method, system, and computer-readable storage medium embodiments are provided for graphically displaying one or more key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with television (TV) viewership data. In some embodiments, a method operates at an electronic device with a display. The method operates by receiving a selected content from a user. Then, a chart is configured to display the one or more KPIs computed based on the TV viewership data. While displaying the chart, the method operates by receiving a selection of a user-selectable graphical element in the chart. In responding to the selection of the user-selectable graphical element, the chart is reconfigured to display the one or more KPIs based on the selection.

  • Patent number: 10614036
Abstract: Techniques have been provided for storing data in a de-duplicated manner on a data storage system in a manner that allows for real-time reference to an index that is too large to fit within memory. This may be accomplished by segmenting the index into smaller segments, stored on disk. Only a subset of the segments may be loaded into memory at a given time. A predictive filter is stored in memory for each segment, allowing a de-duplication driver to quickly predict whether any given new block is likely to be indexed by each segment. Since identical blocks are often stored in long identical sequences (e.g., upon copying a disk image to a disk for a virtual machine), once a segment stored on disk is referenced many times in a short period, it is loaded into memory to allow the remainder of the long sequence to be de-duplicated.

  • Publication number: 20200055634
Abstract: Plastic grid or framework arrangements are used to support and position of bowls that hold flower arrangements, candles, letters, and other decorative elements. These grids are deployable in water fountains, indoor and outdoor pools, and other small bodies of water during festive occasions or for longer term decorative display. The grid themselves do not float, and are positioned below the surface of the water, and thus are not readily visible. Buoyancy is provided at the hubs that form nodes in the grids. The hubs also support floating bowls containing various decorative elements. The resulting effect is that the various decorative elements appear to be floating on the surface while the sub-surface grid structure maintains their relative positioning, keeping the bowls from clumping together at the edges or in the corners of the pool or fountain.
