Abstract: Methods for reducing the peak emission levels in solvent recovery systems that occur when an adsorber vessel is transferred from scrubbing to adsorption service by recirculating solvent laden air from the adsorber vessel through a condenser and returning it to the input of the recovery system following the termination of scrubbing and just prior to returning the vessel to adsorption service.
