Abstract: Novel preventive treatment for COVID 19 and therapeutic treatment for early stages of COVID 19 or any other disease caused by SARS CoV 2. Pharmaceutical formulations and devices are disclosed to be able to implement these treatments. These treatments to prevent and alleviate the symptoms at early stages of COVID 19, the pandemic disease caused by SARS CoV 2. These treatments are based on the administration the nasal cavity and/or the lungs of solutions containing iota Carrageenan with or without the addition of xylitol as antiviral drug substances.
