Abstract: The present invention relates to a dental handpiece (1; 1?) which comprises a body (3) intended to be held by an operator, such as a dentist or dental hygienist, an implement (9) being able to be fitted in a front part of the body (3) so that the operator is able to carry out an oral procedure on a patient with the aid of the implement (9) when holding the body, a light source (29) being disposed in the body (3) and intended to emit light for illuminating the patient's oral cavity during the oral procedure. The invention is characterized in that the dental handpiece (1; 1?) additionally comprises a lens arrangement (33) designed to diffuse the light from the light source (29) within the patient's oral cavity.
Abstract: There is described a surface treatment nozzle which generates a surface treatment jet that comprises a suspension of surface treatment material and gas and a surrounding liquid-containing jet for preventing dusting. The surface treatment jet has a high velocity compared with the velocity of solely liquid and is conveyed in an inner tube (13; 31) and the liquid is conveyed in a channel (12) between the inner tube and a tube (11) concentrically surrounding the inner tube. There is included a mixing arrangement (14, 15, 16; 22; 29, 30, 25) for mixing the liquid with gas upstream of the nozzle outlet and to impart to the liquid/gas mixture a velocity in the same order of magnitude as the velocity of the surface treatment jet at said outlet.
Abstract: The invention relates to a dental device, and a method for exchanging a working tool at a dental device having an exchangeable vibrating of rotating working tool. The working tool (1,3,33) is corrected to a protective housing (2) to be mounted around a movement generating or transmitting device (5,5A). The working tool is exchangeable by aid of a turning operation of said housing (2) in relation of the movement generating or transmitting device.
