Abstract: An optical fiber light includes a light source, a dispersion medium, a power supply, and at least one light tube disposed coaxially along a longitudinal axis of symmetry of the dispersion medium. The light source is integrated with the dispersion medium so that light emitted from the light source is received along the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the dispersion medium. The light tube distributes light along the length of the dispersion medium. Distributed light radiates from the light tube along the length of the dispersion medium.
Abstract: An auxiliary rearview mirror and light assembly includes a non-incandescent light source, an auxiliary rearview mirror, a power source adapter, and a primary rearview mirror mounting assembly. The primary rearview mirror mounting assembly includes at least one fixed appendage and at least one adjustable appendage. The fixed appendage and the adjustable appendage are positioned in an opposing direction. The adjustable appendage has a bias element that exerts a force on the adjustable appendage in a direction towards the fixed appendage. The adjustable appendage is extensible to fit the primary rearview mirror.
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle pedal lock having two elongated members that slide relative to each other. A stationary member has a base plate at one terminal end for placement on the floor of the vehicle. The stationary member defines a longitudinal channel through which slides the second, movable member. An upper pedal bracket supported by a yoke is mounted on the stationary member near the end of the longitudinal channel. The movable member has a lower pedal bracket at its terminal end. The movable member includes lock detents used to lock the movable member relative to the stationary member via a key-lock mounted to the stationary member. The key-lock includes a locking pin engageable with the locking detents. The pedal lock is adapted to capture and lock the vehicle pedal between the upper and lower pedal brackets such that the pedal may not be depressed.
Abstract: The air freshener device is adapted to be mounted on a ventilation duct in a vehicle or other closed space. The housing has a front side and a back side and respective input and output air ports defined thereon. Forced air, expelled from the ventilation ducts, enters the input air ports of the housing, causes a rotatable fan to rotate and generate arcuate and, preferably rotating, air currents in the generally hollow interior space defined by the housing. An air freshener pellet is disposed within the housing and the arcuate air flow, and preferably rotatable air flow, passes over the pellet, mixes with the expelled ventilation air and is ejected from the housing via the output air port.
