Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for rewarding a holder of a transaction account linked to a financial transaction instrument, and rewarding an assistant who has been designated by the transaction account holder to manage the transaction account, the transaction account holder and the assistant each participating in a loyalty program. A first loyalty account associated with the transaction account is created for the transaction account holder. A second loyalty account associated with the transaction account is created for the assistant. A first reward is provided to the first loyalty account of the transaction account holder and a second reward is provided to the second loyalty account of the assistant, based on at least one transaction made using the financial transaction instrument.

Abstract: A method of combining reward points from a plurality of rewards program accounts in a single rewards program into a joint redemption account is disclosed. The method comprises establishing a joint redemption or community reward account to which program members can contribute rewards points; allowing one or more contributing program members to contribute rewards points from their respective rewards program accounts to the community reward account; redeeming the points from the community reward account for a predetermined reward; and withdrawing the redeemed points from each contributing program member's rewards account according to that program member's contribution to the community reward account upon redemption of the points from the community reward account and not ever transferring points into another member's account to prevent to corporation from incurring incremental legal ownership risk.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are used to control access to promotions is disclosed. The system, method and computer program product control access to promotion information through receiving a partial account number of a cardholder at a customer service system that stores the promotion information, comparing the received partial account number to previously-stored information to produce a verification result, and controlling access to the promotion information based on the verification result. Use of a partial account number (e.g., just the BIN number) allows a card issuer (or their agent) to verify a card holder's eligibility for a promotion, without the need for the card holder to submit and personably-identifiable information.

Abstract: A system and method for generating popup content in response to user's actions within an enabled web page is disclosed. Generation of the popup occurs in response to a user triggered event which invokes a script referencing a secondary web page to display within the bounds of the enabled web page. The user triggered event results from movement of a mouse pointer or a keyboard event which may indicate a user's intention to exit the web page by closing the web browser window or navigating to a different web site or web page. The resulting popup is contained within the web page content itself, thereby resulting in a less intrusive popup display and avoiding the effects of popup suppression utilities.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for enabling a holder of a transaction account linked to a financial transaction instrument to delegate management of the transaction account to an assistant. Information relating to the transaction account, including at least identification information relating to the holder of the transaction account, is stored in a database. The database stores financial transaction data relating to financial transactions performed using the financial transaction instrument. A designation of at least one assistant to manage the transaction account on behalf of the holder is accepted and stored. Assistant management authentication data associated with the transaction account is established, to be used by the assistant to execute management instructions at a designated level of management access. An instruction from the assistant is accepted to access transaction data associated with the transaction account.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are used to obtain a credit report. The system comprises at least one input device, a credit agency system, and a credit requesting system. The input device receives a partial identification number (e.g., social security number (SSN)) and additional information from an individual. The credit agency system receives the partial SSN and at least a portion of the additional information from the input device and generates a comparison result. The credit requesting system is coupled to the credit agency system and the at least one input device. The credit requesting system controls transmission of the partial SSN and the portion of the additional information to the credit agency system and receives the comparison result from the credit agency system.

Abstract: A system and method for attaching a Radio Frequency operable transaction device to an article using various attachment apparatus are disclosed. The invention includes attaching a transaction device to an article using apparatuses comprised of bands, clips, clamps, drawstrings, and adhesives. The present invention allows for the securing of an RF transaction device (e.g., a payment fob) to a consumer's person thereby enabling a transaction to be completed without the need for the consumer to manually present the transaction device.
