Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus are used to contact an intended customer. In one embodiment, one or more notification details associated with an intended customer are received. The notification details may include at least a phone number and a name of the intended customer. Subsequently, a phone call to the intended customer is originated. One or more audio messages are played to a recipient of the phone call. Subsequently, one or more inputs from the recipient are received. Whether the recipient is the intended customer is determined based on the inputs provided. In one embodiment, the phone call is routed to an agent or an automated system if the recipient is the intended customer. In another embodiment, if the recipient is not the intended customer, the recipient may be prompted to provide availability information of the intended customer.

The system enables consumers who wish to participate in promotional sales offers to register with a mobile commerce system. Prior to the start of a promotion, the system sends a text message alert to registered consumers, giving them an opportunity to opt-in via text message from a wireless communications device. If defined conditions are met, the consumer's financial account is debited in the amount of the purchase and the consumer is instructed as to how to acquire their purchase.

The authorizing agent may receive the random number and compare the random number to a device validating code.

Abstract: A financial institution may use the bank routing and account number information (ABA/DDA) of a checking account or the like, obtained from paper checks previously submitted by a customer, in an electronic payment program. When a customer who has previously paid a credit balance by check, for example, wants to enroll in the electronic payment program, an abbreviated enrollment process is provided in which the consumer only enters a portion of bank routing information, instead of having to enter the full ABA/DDA as in the standard enrollment procedure. In some cases, the customer may leave such information blank and needs only to confirm that the stored bank account information corresponds to the account being used for the electronic payment.

Abstract: A system and method of reconciliation processing that automates multiple steps of data validation. One of the key steps of reconciliation is the review and validation of the input and outputs. An embodiment of this invention includes the maintenance of an automated checklist of the various reconciliation steps, which enables maintaining an audit trail and the generation of metrics. A web-based system can be implemented to achieve the objectives of improving the reconciliation process and utilizing computerized controls.
