Abstract: A system and method for automated continuous task triggering is provided. The system may provide automated continuous task triggering by monitoring a data source and a data output, retrieving a task criteria from a criteria database, and executing a task in response to the task criteria being met. The task criteria may comprise a set of instructions to execute the task on the data source and the data output. The system may also recalibrate the task criteria based on the executing of the task to generate a recalibrated task criteria.

Abstract: The present system and method comprises an improved marketplace for providing and consuming services. Using the present system, generally via one or more APIs, comprises a method for integrating value added services within a network of participants, for instance, a payment network. The network can use service switching capabilities to route service calls to and from the service consumers and providers using routing elements defined in a message specification. Network participants can be both consumers and providers of services. The network can route service messages to the appropriate provider depending on details in the message.

Abstract: A test script may be written in a test script configuration spreadsheet. A plurality of test scripts may be listed in a test suite spreadsheet. A user may hit a run key to execute all or any subset of the test scripts listed in the test suite spreadsheet. A test engine may read the test suite spreadsheet and the test script configuration spreadsheets to execute the test scripts on any platform or browser specified by the test suite spreadsheet.

The methods may comprise determining, based on a collaborative filtering algorithm, a consumer relevance value associated with an item, and transmitting, based on the consumer relevance value, information associated with the item to a consumer. A collaborative filtering algorithm may receive as an input at least one of: a transaction history associated with the consumer, a demographic of the consumer, a consumer profile, a type of transaction account, a transaction account associated with the consumer, a period of time that the consumer has held a transaction account, a size of wallet, a share of wallet, and/or the like.

A determination is made as to whether to grant authorization based on whether the generated alphanumeric string matches an alphanumeric user identifier stored in a memory device in association with a user.

The transaction account issuer may verify the DOD ID number with the DOD. The transaction account issuer may embed the DOD ID number in a transaction instrument which is issued to the consumer. The consumer may use the transaction instrument at a DOD point of sale located at a DOD facility. The DOD point of sale may verify with the DOD that the DOD ID number in the transaction instrument is valid. The DOD may notify the transaction account issuer that the DOD ID number is valid. The transaction account issuer may approve transactions which may have otherwise been denied.

Abstract: An adaptable network security system includes trust mediator agents that are coupled to each network component. Trust mediator agents continuously detect changes in the security characteristics of the network and communicate the detected security characteristics to a trust mediator. Based on the security characteristics received from the trust mediator agents, the trust mediator adjusts security safeguards to maintain an acceptable level of security. Trust mediator also uses predetermined rules in determining whether to adjust security safeguards. Despite inevitable changes in security characteristics, an acceptable level of security and efficient network operation are achieved without subjecting users of the network to over burdensome security safeguards.

Various offers, including discounts, prepaid amounts, and the like may be purchased by customers for use with various merchants. A third party issuer obtains information from the customer in selling the offers and issues some kind of indicium of value having a representation of the value of the offer associated therein. Record of the indicia are maintained and either transmitted to the merchant or kept by the issuer or associated financial institutions. When the customer redeems the offer by presenting the indicium to the merchant, the merchant may either authenticate the indicium using the records received by the issuer, or establish communication with the issuer for the issuer to authenticate the indicium, either by itself or in cooperation with one or more related financial institutions.
