The locker comprises a first side wall having an interlocking portion, a second side wall having a first interlocking portion engaging the interlocking portion of the first side wall and a second interlocking portion, and a third side wall having an interlocking portion engaging the second interlocking portion of the second side wall. A coin receptacle, coin receptacle locking mechanism, a shelf and a door for the locker are also disclosed. A method of manufacturing a locker is also provided. The method comprises cutting a first wall from a first material to a desired length, cutting a second wall from the first material to the desired length, cutting a third wall to the desired length, and slidingly engaging the first, second and third walls. A method for limiting access to a locking mechanism is also provided, which comprises positioning the locking mechanism adjacent an inward facing surface and fastening the locking mechanism to the locker.

Abstract: A post office locker allows for delivery and safe storage until pickup of packages in one or more storage compartments each fitted with an access door provided with a custodian lock under the sole control of a mailman and an access lock adapted to be operated for access door opening purposes by a key supplied by the mailman to an intended recipient of a package. The access lock features an improved latch device arranged to cooperate with the custodian lock for defining two separate latch positions in which the custodian lock is constrained against rotation towards its door locked position.

Abstract: A coin holding mechanism is adapted for use in new coin operated lock units and in retrofitting previously installed lock units of the type adapted for "free" service in order to prevent return of a coin deposit to a patron until the lock unit is in a condition wherein a key operated patron lock cannot be placed/returned to locked position in which the key of the patron lock can be removed in the absence of another coin being properly placed on deposit within the lock unit.

Abstract: A security locking system includes a plurality of compartments each having a door giving access thereto and a lock for locking each such door; a console for controlling operation of the locks to permit access to the compartments, wherein the console includes a circuit for accepting a plurality of selected multiple digit codes, each of which codes electronically opens an individual lock associated with that particular selected code; and an additional circuit associated with each lock for allowing all of the locks to be connected by common wiring to the console.
