Abstract: There is provided an improved two-ply sterilization wrap and a method for using the improved sterilization wrap to sterilize an article. The wrap is made of a single sheet of sterilization material. The sheet is folded forming at least one fold. The folded sheet forms first and second overlapping panels and two layers of sterilization material. Preferably, the panels are bonded to each other. The folded single sheet provides two layers of sterilization material covering the article to be sterilized.

Abstract: A disposable face mask with improved moisture control characteristics to reduce the uncomfortable buildup of perspiration and to avoid fogging of eyeglasses or an attached eyeshield. The mask body includes at least an inner layer, worn next to the wearer's face, and a generally coextensive outer layer. An absorbent core is located between the layers, of lesser extent than the mask layers, and positioned so that at least a portion of an intermediate region of the mask is unobstructed by the absorbent core. As examples, the absorbent core may be made of wood pulp or wood pulp blend nonwoven, either of which may be impregnated with super absorbent (SAP). As another example, the absorbent core may be made of peat moss. The absorbent core may be made of a woven material such as cotton, a nonwoven material with absorbent characteristics, or a combination of both.

Abstract: A flood water containment bag constructed of lightweight, inexpensive porous material with a quantity of water absorbent material therein which increases substantially in volume and weight when it absorbs water entering into the interior of the bag. The bag can be easily and quickly transported to a point of use and arranged in a plurality of superimposed courses when in a flattened lightweight condition and will expand to form a water barrier or wall. Fastener strips are attached to top and bottom surfaces of the horizontally arranged bags to enable them to be interconnected to stabilize the formed barrier.
