    Abstract: This invention relates to cross-flow filtration and more particularly towards disposable, compact cross-flow filters and filtration methods incorporating a novel pressure-balancing arrangement comprising a flexible wall which expands and contracts in response to fluid pulsations. The invention further relates to methods of fluid concentration employing such a device to a fluid concentration system, and to methods of making such a filtration device.
