Abstract: The present invention provides solid compositions of amorphous calcium carbonate (ACC) and a polyphosphate, bisphosphonate or pharmaceutical salts thereof as a stabilizer. Said stabilizers stabilizes the ACC and prevent crystallization to crystalline calcium carbonate (CCC) for a long period of time, even in an aqueous suspension. The invention further provides pharmaceutical composition comprising the solid ACC compositions as well their use in treating of certain diseases and conditions.
