Abstract: The invention relates to an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) contact for an electrical plug. The IDC contact includes a wire contact section and a secondary contact section. The wire contact section includes a cable receiving opening at a proximal end thereof and extending into a slotted cable receiving section. The secondary contact section includes a contact spring extending from and positioned adjacent to the wire contact section and a contact arm extending from the contact spring and extending to a contact point.

Abstract: A connection plug for a portable terminal includes a plurality of plug connection terminals of different types disposed on one plane in a case and connected with socket connection terminals mounted to a socket. Here, ends of the plurality of plug connection terminals to be connected with the socket connection terminals are disposed in different positions. The plurality of plug connection terminals are in different lengths. Accordingly, since different types of plug connection terminals of the connection plug are mounted on one plane such that the ends of the plug connection terminals are disposed in different positions, thickness of the connection plug may be minimized. Also, different functions may be performed with one connection plug. Abstract: A displacement sensor having a sensing body, a strain gauge, and a signal processing unit. The sensing body having a diaphragm positioned at a lower surface of the sensing body and an input bar orthogonally fixed at a center of an upper surface of the sensing body. The strain gauge attaches to the diaphragm. The signal processing unit generates an electrical signal based on an output value of the strain gauge corresponding to strain of the diaphragm caused by moment of the input bar.

Abstract: The present invention relates to contactors for unidirectional DC operation with permanent magnetic arc extinguishing. In addition to the blow magnets, the contactors are equipped with compensatory permanent magnets for compensating the magnetic field in the vicinity of the contact bridge in order to prevent contact levitation, i.e., an uncontrolled opening of the contacts that is due to a magnetic force generated by a strong current flowing through the contact bridge. To this end, the compensatory permanent magnets are arranged in the vicinity of the contact bridge and polarized in the opposite direction of the blow magnets. The magnetic field of the compensatory magnets and the current flowing through the contact bridge are generating a magnetic force that acts on the contact bridge and tends to keep the electrical contacts closed.

Abstract: A method is provided for crimping an electrical terminal to an electrical wire having electrical conductors. The method includes positioning the electrical wire and the electrical terminal between opposing crimp tooling members of a crimp tool. Abstract: The invention relates to an improved contactless position sensor and a system incorporating same. Such a contactless position sensor comprises at least two sensor coils each comprising a magnetic permeable core and windings defining a coil axis. The at least two sensor coils are arranged with the coil axes essentially in parallel to each other. An electrical circuit of the sensor drives a predetermined alternating current within each of the at least two sensor coils and determines a high frequency voltage component of a voltage across each of the at least two sensor coils. The predetermined alternating current includes a low frequency current component, and a high frequency current component. The electrical circuit detects the position of a ferromagnetic target by subtracting from each other amplitude levels of the high frequency voltage components of two of the determined voltages and by comparing the subtraction result to a pre-determined reference pattern.
