    Abstract: The present invention relates to a new high current connector which specifically comprises a terminal assembly and a holder assembly. The terminal assembly includes a resilient conductive terminal component, a terminal base and an inner fastening member. The holder assembly comprises a holding resilient plate component, a holding base, a guide groove member, more than one outer strengthening ribs and an outer fastening member which is provided with more than one vibration-damping holes. The holder assembly is able to warp the terminal assembly from its outside. The resilient conductive terminal component is located at the front portion of the terminal assembly by means of being fastened to the front end of the terminal base. The vibration-damping holes are provided at the connection of the holding base and the outer fastening member. The strengthen ribs extend from the holding resilient plate component to the holding base.

    Abstract: The new PCIE-OCuLink cable end connector can include terminals, a plastic part, a rear cover, an iron shell and a PCB. These terminals are divided into two groups. Each of the two groups snaps onto one and the other side of the plastic part symmetrically, forming an assembly. The rear cover is snapped into firm connection with the iron shell such that the assembly is accommodated within the interior space formed by them. The PCB and the rear ends of the terminals mate and insert with each other. With the two side pieces wrapping their middle portions, the terminals are pressed into the main body, and each side piece is tightly clamped within a respective clamping groove at the same time. Each terminal includes a root portion.

The fastening assembly includes two ferrule-arm-hook components. Each of the two ferrule-arm-hook components includes a ferrule, an arm and a hook, with the ferrule and the hook being respectively located at one of the two ends of the arm. The male protrusion and the female protrusion at the same side, which are brought closely to each other, can be encircled tightly by one of the two ferrules, while each of the arms provides elastic force to make each of the two hooks respectively snap to one of the two sides of the female sub-assembly.

    Abstract: A HDMI connector includes a metallic housing having two plates respectively extending downward from two opposite sides thereof, an insulated body mounted in the metallic housing, and a plurality of electrically conducting pins installed with the insulated body. The metallic housing has two legs each located in front of a respective one of the plates, each leg being integrally formed by cutting a portion of the metallic housing and bending the portion downward. Each leg has a base portion and a solder portion extending from the base portion to be electrically connected to a printed circuit board, wherein the base portion is formed substantially at a right angle with respect to the solder portion and has a dimension greater than the solder portion. The HDMI connector can save material in manufacturing and increase space availability.

    Abstract: The connector has an insulating base, a plurality of terminals, and at least two conductive plastic blocks. The insulating base has a tongue plate configured with at least an indentation. The terminals contains a first signal terminal set, a second signal terminal set, and a power terminal set configured on the tongue plate. The terminals are either positive or negative terminals, and each terminal has a contact section. The contact sections of the first signal terminal set are configured at a distance above the indentation. The conductive plastic blocks are in contact with the contact sections of the negative terminals of the first and second signal terminal sets, respectively. The distance provides additional contact area with the air so that the electrical property is improved and higher transmission speed is achieved. The shielding effect of the conductive plastic blocks reduces cross interference between adjacent terminals.

The high-speed male and female terminals both include a fixing section for fixing the terminals in the respective housings. The high-speed male and female terminals both include flat-structured terminals and deviated-structured terminals. The fixing section of the flat-structured terminal is located on the same plane as other sections of the terminal, while the fixing section of the deviated-structured terminal is deviated sidways with respect to the other sections. Such an alternating arrangement allows the connector to be minatruized and interference and loss of signals transmitted therethrough are reduced.

Contact legs of the plate terminals and the clips extend outside the housings and are mounted to the substrates through SMT or PCB soldering (DIP). As such, the frame wall of the male housing may be set to mate the female housing to have the plate terminals and the clips efficiently and effectively engaging each other to form a connected condition.

    Abstract: The plug of the connector mainly contains a plug assembly formed by joining two plug pieces, each providing a number of terminals arranged along two major sides of a blade. A conducting plate is sandwiched between the two plug pieces and contacts a metallic casing housing said plug assembly. The casing also contacts an EMI shielding wall enclosing the blades of terminals. The socket of the connector mainly contains a socket assembly formed by interleaving a number of insulating pieces and shielding pieces. Each insulating piece houses four L-shaped terminals and has L-shaped shielding plates positioned in the areas between the L-shaped terminals. The shielding plates contact a metallic plate embedded inside the insulating piece and/or the adjacent shielding piece and the metallic plates in turn contact a metallic casing housing the socket assembly. The casing also contacts an EMI shielding wall enclosing the slots of terminals.
