Patent number: 11791702Abstract: An electromagnetic machine includes a stator, a movable armature and a device for mechanically connecting the movable armature to the stator. The connecting device includes a plurality of leaf springs. The stator includes at least one first electrical coil and at least one first magnetic core forming at least one open loop between first and second terminal ends of said first loop in order to define an air gap between said terminal ends. The plurality of leaf springs extends on a single side of an air gap plane perpendicular to a first loop plane. The plurality of leaf springs is arranged so as to authorise the translation of the movable armature in relation to said stator in a direction that is perpendicular to the loop plane and to prohibit any movement of said movable armature in any direction within said loop plane.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2018Date of Patent: October 17, 2023Assignee: AMS R&D SASInventors: Guy Delaisse, Jean-Baptiste Drevet, Harold Guillemin

Patent number: 11649815Abstract: A ripple diaphragm circulator includes a body inside which there is an internal chamber comprising an inlet opening and an outlet opening for fluid; and a flexible diaphragm placed in the chamber so as to be able to ripple there. The circulator further includes an actuating mechanism including at least one motor and a mechanical linking part linking the motor to the first edge of the diaphragm so as to move it in a reciprocating motion. The circulator also includes a device for detecting at least one value representative of a movement of the diaphragm, a power supply unit delivering an electrical power supply signal to the motor according to a detection signal.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2018Date of Patent: May 16, 2023Assignee: AMS R&D SASInventors: Guy Delaisse, Jean-Baptiste Drevet, Harold Guillemin

Patent number: 9080564Abstract: A diaphragm circulator for liquid material including a body defining a plurality of propulsion chambers with rigid walls and including a plurality of deformable diaphragms with the chambers being connected in series. In each chamber, between the rigid walls of the chamber, is placed one of the diaphragms with an edge adjacent to an inlet port of the chamber and an edge adjacent to an outlet port of the chamber. A diaphragm-exciting member is arranged to cooperate with the diaphragms in order to generate ripples along the diaphragms. In each diaphragm, at least when the diaphragm ripples, a tension is generated in the diaphragm so that the diaphragm tension on the side of the discharge orifice is greater than on the side of the intake orifice.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2012Date of Patent: July 14, 2015Assignee: AMS R&D SASInventor: Jean Baptiste Drevet

Patent number: 8834136Abstract: An undulating diaphragm pump having a propulsion chamber for receiving said diaphragm, wherein the diaphragm has mechanical characteristics that vary from an inlet of the propulsion chamber towards an outlet of the propulsion chamber in such a manner that, when the diaphragm is actuated to deform with a traveling wave that propagates from the inlet towards the outlet of the propulsion chamber in order to propel the fluid, the propagation speed of the wave in the diaphragm in any cross-section relative to the movement of the fluid inside the propulsion chamber is equal to or greater than the mean travel speed of the fluid in said section.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2009Date of Patent: September 16, 2014Assignee: AMS R&D SASInventor: Jean-Baptiste Drevet

Patent number: 8714944Abstract: A pump having an undulating diaphragm mounted for undulating between two end plates under drive from at least one electromagnetic actuator in order to transfer a fluid between an inlet of the pump and an outlet of the pump. The pump includes adapter means connecting the diaphragm support to a movable portion of the actuator in order to shorten the stroke of the movable mass of the actuator such that its stroke is shorter than the stroke of the diaphragm support.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2009Date of Patent: May 6, 2014Assignee: AMS R&D SASInventor: Jean-Baptiste Drevet

Publication number: 20130078122Abstract: A diaphragm circulator for liquid material having an internal circuit provided with at least one material intake orifice for discharging the material. The circulator body defines a propulsion chamber with rigid walls between which a deformable diaphragm is placed in such a way that the edge thereof is adjacent to the intake orifice and the edge is adjacent to the discharge orifice for forming a ripple carrier. A diaphragm-exciting member is arranged on the side of the intake orifice for producing a reciprocating motion on the corresponding diaphragm edge in such a way that the ripple is generated and is provided with the circulator rigid walls which are arranged inside free ripple amplitude envelope surfaces extending along the diaphragm.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 16, 2012Publication date: March 28, 2013Applicant: AMS R&D SASInventor: AMS R&D SAS
