Abstract: A perforator quick disconnect system for an aerator device includes a perforator and a retaining device. The perforator has a head with an exterior configured to be received within a mounting block of the aerator device and a female component that extends into the exterior of the head. The retaining device has a connector configured to connect to the mounting block and a male component disposed within the connector and moveable relative thereto from a first position to a second position. The female and male components together form a quick disconnect mechanism such that when the perforator and retaining device are received by the mounting block, the male component engages the female component when the male component is in the first position to connect the retaining device to the mounting block and disengages the female component when in the second position to disconnect the perforator from the mounting block.

  • Patent number: 6264817
Abstract: A component is immersed into an electrolyte with a specific speed and an initial polarizing current intensity is applied, which is high enough to generate on the surface of the treated component, which is immersed in the electrolyte, moving microplasma discharges. The component is held until the formation of a coating of a specific thickness. The lowering phase of the voltage, at which a coating forms, is carried out by lowering the voltage to a value which corresponds with the beginning of the extinction of the microplasma discharges and then maintaining it until the complete extinction of the isolated wandering microplasma discharges. Then the component is taken out of the electrolyte and is cooled.

  • Patent number: 6238540
Abstract: A method for microplasma electrolytic processing a surface of an electroconductive material, involves establishing an electrical circuit between this material, as a first electrode, and a counterelectrode, as a second electrode, by immersing the first electrode into an electrolyte that is in contact with the second electrode and applying an electrical voltage across the first and second electrodes with a power source. In a first step, only a portion of the surface of the material is immersed in the electrolyte, the size of that portion being dependent on an output power of the power source, a composition of the material, an electric regime used, a composition of the electrolyte, and a minimal current density at which a process of microplasma oxidation is stable. The surface of the material is then completely immersed in the electrolyte while the voltage is regulated to cause a current value I(t) between the first and second electrodes ranging from 0.9I<I(t)1.

  • Patent number: 6219240
Abstract: The invention relates to an area of electronic equipment assembly using packaged and unpackaged electronic components. The invention solves a problem of creating an all-purpose construction of three-dimensional electronic modules with the possibility of employing practically any kind of packaged and unpackaged electronic components, providing high packing density, effecting heat removal and allowing good accessibility for repair. This is provided due to the arrangement of both packaged and unpackaged components in three-dimensional space in combination with effective heat removal directly from heat emitting components. Use of corrugated commutation boards and ordinary tools allows repair of any alternative design of the module without dismounting other components. This constructive solution allows an increased packing density of electronic equipment by 2-10 times in comparison with conventional constructions and increases mean time between failures (MTBF).

  • Patent number: 6184579
Abstract: A double-sided electronic device includes a heat conductive substrate having working zones of structures and components disposed thereon in double planar arrangement, as a monolithic or hybrid electronic device. In order to connect the structures or components, disposed on different sides of a substrate, connecting conductors go through the substrate's edges. At the same time the connecting conductors are insulated from the structures and pass on main surfaces of double-sided electronic device. In a case of failure detection after burn-in and checking, the device having one good side is used as conventional, housed in a package or three-dimensional module. A device having two good surfaces has double information capacity. The invention provides a large economic benefit due to economy of materials and significantly increases a packing density of electronic equipment.

  • Patent number: 6116348
Abstract: The invention relates to the firefighting technology. The method and system according to the invention provide environmentally safe and efficient fire extinguishing by introducing into a space that is being protected a vapor, gas, and aerosol mixture that is preliminarily oxidized and cooled and that contains a solid phase with particles of 1 to 2 .mu.m, which is formed upon combustion of a pyrotechnic composition, and performing post-oxidation of the combustion products in a bed of a sorbent with an oxygen-containing oxidizer. A vapor and gas mixture is simultaneously introduced into the space that is being protected. The vapor and gas mixture is formed by desorption from the surface of a solid coolant that is saturated with a coolant as a result of indirect heat exchange with the products of combustion of the pyrotechnic composition. The oxygen-containing oxidizer may be in the form of potassium nitrate.
