    Abstract: A water pressure booster system is disclosed having a control device which regulates the pressure in the distribution system via a closely balanced piston valve. Flow into the system from a pump is controlled by a throttling valve which is actuated by the pressure differential between the system pressure and a constant pressure acting on a closely balanced piston. Flow from the system back into the pump is prevented by a flow control/check valve within the throttling valve.
