Abstract: A display device housing and corresponding receiving bracket may provide a snap-in or screwless configuration to place a monitor into a wall bracket or self-standing display housing. In one example the apparatus includes a display housing that includes an electronic display affixed to a mounting bracket which rests along the perimeter of the electronic display and which comprises at least two spring loaded securing tabs, and a receiving bracket configured to house the display housing and the mounting bracket in a secure position with at least two receiving slots form-fitted to receive the at least two spring loaded securing tabs and provide a secure spring loaded locking position that maintains the display device housing and the mounting bracket in a locked position.

Abstract: An architecture for altering the content of a menuing system with little or no change to existing firmware of an electronic device is disclosed. A menu text file is generated and the menu text file is compiled into source code. Menu firmware is compiled and liked using the source code into a downloadable binary for the electronic device. The downloadable binary does not alter existing firmware of the electronic device.

Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and method of processing an audio signal to optimize audio for a room environment. One example method of operation may include recording the audio signal generated within a particular room environment and processing the audio signal to create an original frequency response based on the audio signal. The method may also include creating at least two iterative filters based on at least two separate frequency ranges of the original frequency response, calculating an error difference between the frequency response modified by the at least two iterative filters and the original frequency response, and applying the error difference to the audio signal.

Abstract: In a zigbee network, reliable communications are provided by maintaining messages transmitted from a device in a message queue in the device. If no successful acknowledgement is received for a transmitted message, the message is re-transmitted when the message queue executes. Messages are deleted from the queue when the message is successfully transmitted or when a maximum number of re-tries has been exhausted.

A center of the spool includes a clutch bearing in the center of both the first cylindrical lip and the second cylindrical lip that provides a rotational axis for the cable spool to rotate around. The apparatus may also include a feed slot near the first cylindrical lip that provides a passage for cable to pass from the second cylindrical lip to the first cylindrical lip.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of generating display data based on at least one input display value received from a touch screen device is disclosed. According to one example method of operation the method may include receiving an input display value in a predefined enclosed area of an input domain, and calculating a parametric representation of the received input display value based on the boundaries of the predefined enclosed area in the input domain. The predefined enclosed area may be a triangle. The operations may also include mapping the parametric representation of the input display value to a corresponding output display value in an output domain. The operations may also include displaying the at least one output display value via the display device.

Abstract: A system that facilitate broadcast of a device discovery beacon by a dynamic physical device wishing to bind to one or more control systems are provided. If the dynamic physical device comprises a server that is configured to bind to multiple master controllers, the dynamic physical device may include a device Type Flag and set the value of the device Type Flag to indicate the dynamic physical device comprises a server. On detection of the beacon, a master controller evaluates the device Type Flag if it is present in the device discovery beacon. If the device Type Flag is present and indicates the dynamic physical device comprise a server which may bind to multiple master controllers, the master controller may automatically load a device Module for the dynamic physical device and commence communications with the dynamic physical device with no manual intervention.

Subsequent points are recorded and an angle is calculated from point to point as the user periodically moves the finger. A set of the calculated angles are compared with an ideal angle in order to recognize the gesture.
