  • Publication number: 20130237450
Abstract: A method for simultaneously detecting at least one specific DNA target molecule in a plurality of samples by means of nucleic acid amplification is provided. The method comprising: bringing at least two DNA samples comprising DNA in contact with forward and reverse primers, which in the 3? portion contain a nucleotide sequence that is complementary to the amplifying DNA target molecule, and which in the 5? portion comprises an oligonucleotide having an artificial DNA sequence that is associated with the individual samples; amplifying the samples; contacting the amplified samples with a solid substrate on which oligonucleotides are immobilized at a preselected site, said oligonucleotides comprising at the 3? ends the artificial DNA sequence associated with the individual samples; and ascertaining binding of the amplification products at the oligonucleotides immobilized on the solid substrate.

  • Patent number: 7927546
Abstract: The present invention relates to devices for the analysis of liquid samples, comprising a rotational-symmetric rotor (1) which is insertable into a sample container (11), wherein an annular gap (32) is provided between the sample container (11) and the rotor (1), and the rotor (1) has at least one flow channel (7) for transporting liquids and/or gases into and/or from the interior of the sample container (11), wherein on the rotor (1) and, optionally, on the sample container (11), means for centred mounting of the rotor (1) are provided.

  • Publication number: 20090311139
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for analysing constituents of a sample. Said device comprises sensor molecules that are deposited on one surface of a carrier, which optionally bond with the constituents to be analysed. The aim of the invention is to reliably detect even negligible quantities of sample constituents to be analysed and to obtain good results from said analysis. To achieve this, the carrier consists of a centrifuge head that can be inserted into a sample container, leaving a radial annular gap exposed. The peripheral surface of the centrifuge head forms the surface that is to be provided with the sensor molecules.
