Abstract: A tie-down particularly adapted for use in combination with a pool cover which importantly prevents any marring, scratching or damage to the surface of the deck surrounding the pool. The tie-down is generally flat and smooth and made from a tough flexible rubber compound, presenting a keyhole slot at one end and a bifurcated opposite end. Either a hollow threaded member (or fastener) or a selective snap fastening arrangement is presented at the latter. The keyhole slot engages an anchor embedded in the pool deck, where the opposite bifurcated end secures one of a series of grommets disposed along the edge of the pool cover. The invention achieves desired strength and pulling force on the cover.
Abstract: A fabric juncture assembly comprising an interlock and connectors, where the fabric panels are secured to the latter. Assembly is assured by a male-female latching mode variously presented along adjacent edges of the interlock and the connectors. As a result, a secured relationship is positively achieved between the interlock and the connectors and, at the same time, a watertight relationship.
Abstract: A pool deck protector comprising an enlarged body portion tapering into narrow elongated strips at either end, where the body portion is adpated to underlie the body of a spring member forming part of a pool cover tensioning arrangement. The aforesaid strips of the deck protector are inserted into opposite ends of the spring member, serving to retain the elongated body portion in a position between the spring member and the upper surface of the pool deck.
Abstract: A corner connector assembly for a tent characterized as a two-part casting arranged for a floating relationship, the latter serving advantages in assembling struts or eave bars having crimped areas proximate the ends thereof which cooperate with projections on the inner surfaces of hollow arms forming part of the assembly. The arrangement also includes a vertical adjustment feature for the leg supporting the connector, such involving upper and lower members, the upper member being rotatable within the lower member by means of a bolt riding along a spring, to accommodate for variations in the terrain or other supporting surface.
Abstract: A tent frame assembly characterized by a two-part corner member or casting secured together by an independent nut and bolt arrangement, where the nut is dimensioned so as to permit ready grasping and tightening during the assembly procedure. The invention further includes a pre-positioned rotatable sleeve forming part of a corner brace assembly to expedite installation and to achieve a stabilized frame.
