Abstract: A sequence of call volume measurements is accessed, where each of the call volume measurements is associated with respective metadata. The respective metadata may provide information regarding a time period during which a call volume measurement was made. A window of the sequence of call volume measurements with the respective metadata is input to a machine learning model to obtain a prediction of a call volume. The machine learning model includes embedding functions that are applied to the respective metadata for the call volume measurements in the window.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless communication technology, and in particular, to a handover control method and device. The existing handover mechanism may cause the problem that too frequent handover measurement of a terminal increases the energy consumption of the terminal, negatively impacting the power saving of the terminal. A source satellite base station of the embodiments of the present disclosure receives auxiliary information reported by a terminal, determines at least one candidate satellite base station according to satellite base station orbital map information of the current region and the auxiliary information, and returns a handover command to the terminal according to the at least one candidate satellite base station, so that the terminal determines, according to the handover command, a target satellite base station to which the terminal is to be handed over, and is handed over from the source satellite base station to the target satellite base station.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method and device in UE and a base station for channel coding. A first node first determines a first bit block and then transmits a first radio signal, wherein bits of the first bit block are used to generate bits of a second bit block, a third bit block comprises bits of the second bit block and the first bit block, and the third bit block is used to generate the first radio signal. The first bit block, the second bit block and the third bit block comprise P1, P2 and P3 bits, respectively.

Abstract: A station (STA), which supports multiple spatial streams, can, and sometimes does, re-advertise the station as supporting less spatial stream (SS) than the actual number of spatial streams that the device does actually support. In some embodiments, a station's maximum advertised maximum number of spatial streams is proactively reduced based on the station's throughput being below one or more thresholds. In some embodiments, the analysis and level of spatial stream value to be reported in a re-advertisement is determined by the access point. In some other embodiments, the analysis and level of spatial stream value to be reported in a re-advertisement is determined by the station. The access point allocating its limited supported spatial streams among stations is able to more efficiently allocate the air link resources.

Abstract: A conference participant is alerted as to an event during a conference responsive to a determination that a focus of the conference participant is other than on the conference. During the conference, an event associated with the conference participant is detected based on a real-time transcription of the conference. For example, the event may relate to a topic relevant to the conference participant or a request associated with a name of the conference participant. A determination is made that a focus of the conference participant is other than on the conference based on information associated with a device of the conference participant, such as input received from a camera associated with the device or a setting of an audio output device associated with the device. Based on that determination and the detected event, output is presented to alert the conference participant as to the event.

The visualization output generation tool generates visualizations representing the menu options. The telephony system outputs the visualizations to a display associated with the client device.

Abstract: The number of agents to which incoming queries to a customer interaction center agent group may be distributed is limited based on skip criteria. The skip criteria is defined based on information associated with agent devices, such as locked status of a device, in-memory status of a client application at the device, or whether a telephone number provisioned for use with the device is from an external public switched telephone network. Agents which fail to satisfy the skip criteria are excluded from distributions of queries to improve wait times for customer interaction center users. Thus, queries are distributed from a queue to agents which satisfy the skip criteria.
