The method includes: acquiring first indication information, wherein the first indication information indirectly indicates a spatial characteristic parameter set scheduled to the user-side device, the spatial characteristic parameter set is one of a plurality of spatial characteristic parameter sets configured for the user-side device; determining, according to the first indication information, the spatial characteristic parameter set scheduled to the user-side device.

Abstract: Interactions with objects depicted within video streams displayed during a video conference are detected to cause information associated with the interacted objects to be presented. During a video conference, multiple video layers of a video stream obtained from a first participant device connected to the video conference are identified. An interaction with an object within one of those multiple video layers is detected during the video conference, in which the interaction is from a second participant device connected to the video conference. Based on the interaction, information associated with the object is presented during the video conference within a graphical user interface associated with the video conference. The video stream may, for example, initially include a background layer, a foreground layer, and an overlay layer. Interactive video layers corresponding to each of those initial layers may be introduced to receive interactions with objects depicted therein.

Abstract: Provided in the present disclosure are a method and device for transmitting a downlink channel. The method for transmitting a downlink channel includes: notifying a UE of a resource set for transmission of a group common PDCCH. The solution of the present disclosure enables the UE to ascertain a resource location for detection and reception of a group common PDCCH, thereby detecting and receiving the group common PDCCH at the resource location of the group common PDCCH.

Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a user equipment for a mobile telecommunications system includes circuitry including a receiver and a transmitter and which is configured to communicate with a new radio base station and a LTE base station. The circuitry is further configured to indicate a co-existence indication to the new radio base station or to the LTE base station; and receive a power control instruction for controlling power output of the transmitter.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a method monitors a plurality of data streams passing through a router in the connectivity service provider environment, and for each of the data streams, periodically samples packets at the router. The method further generates a stream signature based at least on the payload of the sampled packets. The method further includes, for each generated stream signature, attaching information to the stream signature. Such information may, for example, include time-stamp information for the stream signature, or an identification of the router. The method may further comprise storing the stream signatures corresponding to the data streams in a database. The stored stream signatures may be compared to determine matching stream signatures. Matching signatures may identify data streams that carry identical or similar content.

Abstract: A first router obtains a first network address of a first local area network (LAN) implemented by a second router and a first subnet mask associated with the first LAN. The first router causes the establishment of a secure communications channel with the second router. The first router determines that a computing device seeks to join the first LAN. The first router obtains an internet protocol (IP) address that has a same network address as the first network address and sends, to the computing device, the IP address and the first subnet mask for use by the computing device.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for firewall configuration. A request can be transmitted to a DNS server. A response to the DNS request can include an Internet Protocol (IP) address. A firewall rule can be generated permitting access to the IP address. The firewall rule can be configured to be valid until expiration of a time-to-live value in the response to the DNS request. Thus, firewall rules can be automatically created as needed by executed processes, eliminating the need for manual firewall rule creation. As the firewall rule is invalid after the expiration of the time-to-live value, risks associated with maintaining out-of-date firewall rules are eliminated, as is the requirement to manually remove or modify out-of-date firewall rules.

Abstract: Disclosed is using service-based controllers to manage test agents and performance of multi-agent tests running on a network, a connection-interrupted agent losing connection to a first controller, calling home after the loss, and being connected to a second controller which, after being connected to the agent, accesses a list of active tests which should be running, directing the agent to stop running tests that are not on the list and receiving from the agent a state report on running tests on the list. Additionally, instantiating and setting states of fresh primary and peer coordination FSMs using the state report from the test agent, establishing coordination interactions with additional controllers of additional test agents that are participating with the connection-interrupted agent in the active tests, and the connection-interrupted agent continuing to conduct active tests and directing results to the second controller without need to tear down and restart the active tests.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining and using disliked content are described. The method includes obtaining, by a service provider system, channel viewing data from a user device of a user, pre-processing, by a content analysis unit, the channel viewing data to mitigate inaccuracies and inconsistencies in the channel viewing data, scaling, by the content analysis unit, the pre-processed channel viewing data to highlight temporal dislike aspects of the pre-processed channel viewing data, applying, by the content analysis unit, machine learning algorithms to the scaled channel viewing data to generate a disliked content ratings matrix, and outputting, by the content analysis unit to user interface systems in the service provider system, to provide enhanced user viewing. The user interface systems including a recommender system, an alternate content generation system, or both.

Abstract: A method of Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart (CAPTCHA) includes: recording, by a voice CAPTCHA module, a speech spoken by a user; determining, by a voice biometric service (VBS), whether a voiceprint matching the user's speech exists; and if a voiceprint matching the user's speech exists, verifying the user as a human user by the VBS. If a voiceprint matching the user's speech does not exist, the VBS i) generates a unique voiceprint for the user based on the user's speech, and/or ii) determines whether the user's speech is at least one of a synthetically generated speech and a previously recorded audio being played back. The user can perform a guest checkout without logging into the voice CAPTCHA module, in which case the VBS compares previously used voiceprints to the user's speech.

Abstract: A secure executable container executed by a first endpoint device in a secure peer-to-peer data network detects that a second endpoint device is unavailable for execution of a secure asynchronous transaction with the first endpoint device, and generates a secure request for an assisting device (the second endpoint device or a third network device) requesting an indication once the second endpoint device is available for execution of the secure asynchronous transaction. The secure request does not contain any user-generated data. Upon the secure executable container receiving the indication generated by the assisting device that the second endpoint device is available for the execution of the secure asynchronous transaction, the secure executable container causes autonomic execution for completing the secure asynchronous transaction with the second endpoint device.
