Abstract: A sidelink release method includes: obtaining a sidelink release timer, where the sidelink release timer is configured or preconfigured by a network side device, or the sidelink release timer is configured by a second terminal or obtained by a second terminal from a network side configuration; starting or restarting the sidelink release timer after data is received and sent on a sidelink connection to the second terminal; and sending a sidelink connection release message to the second terminal or notifying a higher layer of the first terminal after the sidelink release timer expires.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for dynamically detecting repetitive content. The content that is detected as repetitive may be cached for longer periods of time. Subsequent re-transmissions of the repetitive content to user devices may be done by retrieving the content from a cache rather than requesting the content from a transcoder and/or a packager. The repetitive content segments may be retrieved from a cache, thereby saving transcoding and other system resources. A data file may be generated to map the stored segments to their cache locations and to indicate a predicted time for future transmission of the content.

Abstract: An uplink control information transmission method includes: in a case that a PUCCH resource carrying CSI and a PUCCH resource corresponding to an SR overlap in time domain, determining a state of an SR; and in a case that at least one SR is in a positive state, skipping transmitting the CSI, and transmitting an SR in the positive state on the PUCCH resource corresponding to the SR in the positive state; or transmitting the SR in the positive state by puncturing the PUCCH resource of the CSI.

Abstract: A wireless device may support a plurality of channel state information (CSI) processes. The wireless device may send an indication of a number of supported CSI processes to a first base station. The first base station may send to the wireless device a handover command, instructing the wireless device to handover to a second base station. The handover command may comprise configuration parameters for CSI processes associated with the second base station. The configuration parameters may be based on the number of CSI processes supported by the wireless device.

The information transmission method is applied to a terminal, and includes: in a case that there is resource overlap between a first object having a first priority and a second object having a second priority, canceling transmission of the second object and transmitting the first object according to whether the first object and the second object have corresponding downlink control information DCI, the first object including a first physical channel or a first signal, the second object including a second physical channel or a second signal, the first priority being higher than the second priority.

Abstract: A method for scanning a scene is disclosed. According to the method, light is transmitted by a transmitter through a transmitter surface grating array, as a first elliptical pattern in a first lateral direction. Light is received by a receiver through a receiver surface grating array, from an area of a second elliptical pattern. The received light is reflected from the first elliptical pattern. The first elliptical pattern is orthogonal to the second elliptical pattern. The first elliptical pattern overlaps with the second elliptical pattern.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for an active server proxy presentation for sign language interpreters within a video communication session. In one embodiment, a method presents a user interface for each of a number of client devices connected to a communication session, with each UI including one or more video feeds associated with participants of the communication session. The method receives an indication that a first participant is designating a second participant as a sign language interpreter who will perform voicing for the first participant. The method then determines that the second participant is performing voicing for the first participant, then presents, within the UIs of at least a subset of the client devices, a video feed associated with the first participant in a highlighted fashion concurrently to the second participant performing the voicing for the first participant.

Abstract: A method for transmitting a channel state information CSI report, a terminal, and a network device are provided. The method for transmitting a CSI report is applied to a terminal side and includes: dividing non-zero quantized coefficients in a compressed coefficient matrix and a bitmap indicating the quantized coefficients into a plurality of information groups; discarding, based on priority information preset for information groups, at least one of the following information in the CSI report: the quantized coefficients and the bitmap; and transmitting the CSI report with the information discarded.

If the transmission timing difference exceeds a threshold, one or more devices may stop transmitting uplink signals via one or more secondary cells and/or may not apply the timing adjustment for a cell group.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for the detection, following a trigger event, of a device that may be sending and/or receiving signals within a space associated with a wireless network. A wireless signal receiver may be activated and may identify the device by detecting transmissions from the device, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular or other wireless transmissions. The wireless signal receiver may extract, without connecting the device to a local network, information from the transmission that may identify the device. The wireless signal receiver may send the information to an alarm monitor and may be placed in a dormant state.

Abstract: Whiteboard roles controlling levels of access to functionality of a digital whiteboard shared to a video conference for participants of the video conference are inherited based on conference roles of those participants within the video conference. Based on a request to share a digital whiteboard to a video conference, a whiteboard role is determined for each participant of the video conference based on a conference role of the participant within the video conference. For each participant during the video conference, access to functionality of the digital whiteboard corresponding to the whiteboard role determined for the participant is enabled, in which different functionality of the digital whiteboard is enabled for different whiteboard roles.

Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a measurement method, a terminal device, and a network device. The measurement method includes: receiving a measurement adjustment related parameter configured by a network device; and adjusting a radio resource management RRM measurement mode based on the measurement adjustment related parameter. According to the embodiments of this disclosure, effective switching or adjustment between different RRM measurement modes can be implemented, and a ping-pong effect of measurement is avoided, while power consumption of the terminal device is reduced. This prevents the terminal device from frequently adjusting the configuration of RRM measurement, and ensures configuration flexibility of the network device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for gradual and/or gradient-based pruning for language-specific multilingual neural machine translation. For example, a method may include determining a pruning mask for weights of a multilingual machine translation model based on a first pruning threshold, wherein the pruning mask includes at least one entry set to zero and at least one entry set to one; training the multilingual machine translation model, while applying the pruning mask to the multilingual machine translation model, for translation between a language pair based on training examples from a bilingual translation corpus; updating the pruning mask based on a second pruning threshold; and training the multilingual machine translation model, while applying the updated pruning mask to the multilingual machine translation model, for translation between the language pair based on training examples from the bilingual translation corpus. For example, the weights may be pruned based on gradient-based scores.
