    Abstract: Automatic local gateway router backup of a network gateway router is disclosed. A local gateway router communicatively coupled to a local subnet determines that a network gateway router that serves as a default gateway router for the local subnet has stopped responding. The local gateway router and the network gateway router are configured to communicate with one another via a tunnel implemented by a tunneling protocol. In response to determining that the network gateway router has stopped responding, automatically switching, by the local gateway router, from a tunneling mode to a routing mode, such that the local gateway router becomes the default gateway router for the local subnet.

The receiving coil senses a first electromagnetic wave to generate a first AC. The rectifier-filter unit converts the first AC into a first DC. The first voltage conversion unit converts the first DC into a second DC under the control of the second control signal. The battery cell module is charged by the second DC.

The RFID chip receives a first power level from ambient RF energy and periodically broadcasts an identity. The mobile device can receive the broadcast identity, store the identity, transmit the identity and location to a remote server, and receive a notification message from the remote server. The remote serve can determine usage of the item or article of clothing by comparing current records to previous records of RFID chip identity, location, and mobile device application identity.
