Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure facilitate managing information technology service level agreements. In some embodiments, the system includes a server that accesses a database storing a support ticket in memory. The support ticket can include a creation time and a service level agreement. The service level agreement can include a maximum response time. The server initiates, via the computer network, responsive to input from a computing device, a chat session associated with the computing device and the support ticket. The initiating can be associated with a time stamp. The server can be configured to determine a compliance with the service level agreement. The compliance can be computed as a difference between the time stamp and the creation time being less than the maximum response time. The server can be configured to generate a notification of the compliance with the service level agreement.

Abstract: A method executed by a computing device includes selecting a contingency-action token (CAT) of an object distributed ledger that meets minimum CAT requirements. The method further includes facilitating taking control of the selected CAT of a blockchain of the object distributed ledger using a securely passing process and determining that a triggered outcome is valid. The method further includes updating the CAT to indicate resolution of a life insurance investment utilization to produce an updated CAT. The method further includes causing generation of a new block affiliated with the updated CAT via the blockchain of the object distributed ledger using the securely passing process, where the new block includes the updated CAT.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes conductive hydrogels which may include a natural polysaccharide for improved performance and biocompatibility. The resulting conductive hydrogel may exhibit high conductivity and stretchability along with excellent self-healing capability. Methods of producing such hydrogels are also disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein include a pressure delivery component that has a pressure applicator configured to selectively apply therapeutic pressure to a treatment portion of a user body, and also includes a thermal delivery component that has a thermal applicator that is a configured to apply thermal treatment to the treatment portion. The thermal applicator may be removably disposable in operative relationship with the pressure delivery component in a use configuration of the treatment delivery component Treatment delivery component is reconfigurable between a first configuration in which the treatment portion is a first treatment portion that includes a lower leg and foot of the user's body, and a second configuration in which the treatment portion is a second treatment portion that includes an upper arm and deltoid of the user's body.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to dynamically and temporarily adjusting power to an NFC reader of a computing device from a first power level to a second power level based on a feedback mechanism between a contactless card and the computing device. The contactless card may provide a message containing a checksum. The computing device may receive the message and calculate a checksum based on the received message. By comparing these two checksums, it may be determined whether the entire message has been correctly received. If not, the power to the NFC reader may be temporarily increased to allow better communication between the contactless card and the computing device.

Abstract: A method for execution by a server includes determining an exchange item is deficient for fulfilling a transaction associated with a computing device, where the exchange item is associated with an exchange item rule set. The method further includes identifying alternative exchange items to potentially cure the deficiency of the transaction based on requirements associated with the transaction, the exchange item, and the exchange item rule set to produce identified exchange items. The method further includes generating a selectable combination of exchange items from the identified exchange items to support the transaction, wherein the selectable combination of exchange items cures the deficiency in accordance with the exchange item rule set. The method further includes sending the selectable combination of exchange items to the computing device, wherein the computing device is able to favorably complete the transaction utilizing the selectable combination of exchange items.

The modification computer program code can be received from said first server or from a further server.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for managing routes of data traffic within a network. The management may be performed via a graphical user interface that interacts with a Web server to update a configuration file. The configuration file can be converted to router management commands by a network management device (e.g., a BGP speaker). The commands can then be sent to border routers for controlling network traffic. Embodiments are also provided for capturing and logging routing updates made in a network.

Abstract: A load control system may comprise an electrical load control device and/or a computing device. The electrical load control device may control, for example, motorized window treatments (e.g., shades), lighting controls, and/or sensors (e.g., occupancy, radio window, daylight, etc.). For example, a load control device comprising a motorized window treatment may control the position of a covering material in the window treatment. The computing device may comprise a processor and/or a graphical user interface (GUI). The computing device may be a server and/or a user device, such as a wireless user device (e.g., a cellular phone, tablet, or laptop computer). The computing device may be configured to provide graphical representations that may be displayed on a GUI based on load control information.

Abstract: A system and method for detecting and prevent identity theft attempts, such as phishing, vishing or other similar attacks is disclosed. A smart device, such as a smartphone operates in tandem with a biometric sensor, such as is included in a wearable device like a smartwatch or fitness tracker. The wearable tracks certain biometric and/or physiological data that can be used to identify whether the user is in a stressed state. The smart device then accesses usage logs that may indicate whether the stressed state is justified, such as whether the user had a calendar appointment at that time, or whether the call was received from a known contact etc. Justifications reduce the likelihood that the user's stress is a result of an identity theft attempt, whereas lack of justification increases the likelihood. In the latter scenario, the user is notified not to divulge sensitive information.

Abstract: An inventive light source includes a substrate and a set of multiple light-emitting elements. The substrate is transparent or reflective for visible light. The light-emitting elements are positioned on or within the substrate. Each light-emitting element comprises one or more inorganic microLEDs that are arranged to generate and emit non-visible output light (e.g., infrared light) to propagate out-of-plane relative to a corresponding localized area of the substrate around that light-emitting element. Each light-emitting element of the set being sufficiently small in at least one transverse dimension, and the light-emitting elements occupying a sufficiently small fraction of an areal extent of the set, so as to enable visual observation of a scene through or reflected by the substrate along a sight line that passes through the set of light-emitting elements.

Abstract: A panel system includes a front door attached to a chassis by a living hinge. In certain examples, the door also is pivotally attached to the living hinge. The living hinge components can snap-fit to the front door and/or to the chassis. The panel system also may have a mounting bracket that attaches to the chassis without tools to hold the chassis at a rack. The mounting bracket may be mounted at any of multiple predetermined positions along the depth of the chassis.

Abstract: An integrated light bar for emergency vehicles and having a vehicle detection and warning sensor intermediate, preferably medial, opposing ends of the light bar, for alerting a responder at a crash site to take evasive action to a detected on-coming motor vehicle move-over failure, which light bar configured with supports for mounting to the emergency vehicle and having a processor that couples to the sensor, and an alerting device that couples to the processor. The sensor may be an imaging device, radar unit, or similar. The alerting device includes warning lights, a tactile device, and an audio unit for warning signals. The system detects an approaching vehicle, and with a longitudinal axis of a rescue vehicle determines a position angle line and spacing between the system and the approaching vehicle.

Abstract: There is described a system for producing electrical energy and utilizing associated heat. The system includes a source of fuel, a source of oxygen and a solid oxide fuel cell configured to oxidize the fuel to create electrical energy and heat. The system also includes at least one unit configured to utilize heat generated by the solid oxide fuel cell. This at least one unit is selected from the group consisting of: a solid waste pyrolysis unit; a hydrothermal carbonization unit; a water distillation unit; a water pasteurization unit; a water heating unit; a room heating and cooling unit; and a biomass drying unit. In a second aspect, the invention is a system for providing utilities used in a multi-residence complex.

A communications manager selects a path using a predetermined method that considers, optionally, how many attempts there have been to transmit an application message and one or more predetermined key performance indicators.
