  • Patent number: 12293663
Abstract: A system selecting a parking spot using reinforcement learning includes a first monitor evaluating available parking spots in a parking lot. Reinforcement learning (RL) is used to pick a parking spot based on user preferences. A computer computes a probability of a future parking spot availability from the available parking spots. An information source wherein the computer retrieves information including time of day, weather and location from the information source to assist in computing the probability of the future parking spot availability. An update module receives the future parking spot availability from the computer and updates a belief probability, the belief probability including a belief defined as a data structure in which a probability of the available individual parking spots within the parking lot is stored. An RL model is updated for the parking lot after a park maneuver is completed for a host vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12293200
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a distributed analytics development platform (DADP) capable of automatically maintaining a multiple user development environment in real-time. In an illustrative example, a DADP includes a user interface (UI) layer, an application programming interface (API) layer, and an orchestration layer. The orchestration layer, for example, includes tool instances deployed for each of the multiple users. The orchestration layer may further include a multi-instance common orchestration service (COS) having an orchestration service instance (OSI) deployed in each of the tool instances. The COS, for example, may access a current state of each tool instance associated with the user in the orchestration layer and update a dynamic system state profile based on a current state of each of the tool instances. Various embodiments may advantageously provide an autonomously updated analytic development environment for deployment and maintenance of the tool instances in real-time.

  • Patent number: 12295014
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more parameters indicating a plurality of sidelink carriers, a discontinuous transmission (DTX) threshold value, and a channel busy ratio (CBR) threshold value for a sidelink carrier selection procedure. The wireless device selects one or more first sidelink carriers from the plurality of sidelink carriers. The wireless device determines that the number DTXs on at least one sidelink carrier is equal to the DTX threshold value. Based on the determining, the wireless device triggers the sidelink carrier selection procedure and transmits a message indicating the at least one sidelink carrier. The wireless device selects, during the triggered sidelink carrier selection procedure and based on a CBR being below the CBR threshold value, a third sidelink carrier from the plurality of sidelink carriers. The wireless device transmits, to the second wireless device, a sidelink transport block (TB) via the third sidelink carrier.

  • Patent number: 12290771
Abstract: A nanofiber filter wrap is a filter element comprising a polymer film including a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, an array of nanofibers extending from the first surface, a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and opposing first and second edges extending from the first end to the second end. The polymer film is wound or folded to form a plurality of spaced adjacent layers defining interlayer gaps extending through the filter element from the first edge to the second edge substantially normal to a basal plane defined by the second edge of the polymer film. A fluid flowed can be flowed through the interlayer gaps to contact at least a portion of the array of nanofibers whereby a contaminant contained in the fluid is at least partially filtered from the fluid.

  • Patent number: 12293997
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for forming an electrically conductive ink able to be deposited through a print nozzle during a 3D printing operation. The method may involves providing an electrically non-conductive flowable material adapted to be flowed through a print nozzle during a 3D printing operation. A predetermined quantity of chiplets may then be mixed into flowable material, in accordance with a predefined percolation threshold, to form a percolating chiplet network within the polymer as the ink is flowed through the print nozzle and deposited on a surface. The chiplets each form an engineered electronic component, and ones of the chiplets randomly connect, in accordance with the predefined percolation threshold, to form an electrically conductive circuit having a predetermined circuit characteristic.

  • Patent number: 12292089
Abstract: A ball-CV style transmission suitable for use in a Positive Displacement Motor (PDM). A shaft provides shaft wings received into housing receptacles on a housing. A Unitary Torque Transfer Element (UTTE) is interposed between each shaft wing and housing within each housing receptacle, with a spherical surface on the UTTE received into a recess preferably on the housing. The UTTEs float within their corresponding housing receptacles so as to maintain torque transfer contact between all thrust surfaces during articulated rotation of the shaft with respect to the housing. The UTTEs preferably float generally radially towards the shaft centerline as angular deflection increases during articulated rotation.
