Abstract: Auto-calibrating current sensor integrated circuits (ICs) are configured for mounting at a position relative to a conductor. The auto-calibrating current sensor ICs can include a plurality of magnetic field sensing elements disposed at different locations within the integrated circuit, respectively, and can be configured to measure a magnetic field produced by a current carried by the conductor. The auto-calibrating sensors can include an electromagnetic model of the IC and the conductor. The model can be operative to determine a magnetic field at points in space due to a given current in the conductor at a known location of the conductor from the IC, and also the inverse situation of determining an unknown current and/or location of the conductor based on measurements of a magnetic field at known locations in space due to an unknown current in the conductor. Related auto-calibration methods are also described.

Abstract: Methods are provided for isolation of immunoglobulin G (IgG) from plasma, where IgG is initially fractioned by salt precipitation, followed by successive ion exchange steps in which IgG appears in unbound, flow-through fractions of the ion exchange steps. Some embodiments employ successive anion exchange steps. Other embodiments employ an anion exchange step followed by application of flow-through of the anion exchange step to a cation exchange step, with IgG collected in flow-through fractions from the cation exchange step. IgG is collected at high yield (typically about 75% or greater) and high purity. Avoidance of binding and elution from chromatography media simplifies processing and scale up without sacrificing IgG quality or yield.

Abstract: A prefabricated tile strip includes a backing board, a tile region having plural tiles and grout. The grout can be composed of a resin/polymer-based grout that allows for superior water resistance, stain resistance, crack resistance and is transportable without breaking. The strip includes an edge region or flange on either side of the tiles to allow for simple screw in and glue on assembly, not even a wall is necessary, the strip can be attached directly to the studs. A step over/under water resistant edges can go directly onto a bathtub or shower ledge or onto the wet area of a tile floor (not separate ledge), allowing it to go straight down to the bottom of a shower floor, or It can step right over a thin plastic flange on a tub or shower base.

Abstract: In one set of embodiments, confidential data needed by a workload component running within a worker VM can be placed on an encrypted virtual disk that is attached to the worker VM and hardware-based attestation can be used to validate the worker VM's software and isolate its guest memory from its hypervisor. Upon successful completion of this attestation process, a data decryption key can be delivered to the worker VM via a secure channel established via the attestation, such that the hypervisor cannot read or alter the key. The worker VM can then decrypt the contents of the encrypted virtual disk using the data decryption key, thereby granting the workload component access to the confidential data.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems and methods for providing hierarchical and shared exponent floating point data types. First and second shared exponent values are determined based on exponent values of a plurality of floating point values. A third shared exponent value is determined based the first shared exponent value and the second shared exponent value. First and second difference values are determined based on the first shared exponent value, the second shared exponent value, and the third shared exponent value. Sign values and mantissa values are determined for the plurality of floating point values. The sign value and the mantissa value for each floating point value in the plurality of floating point values, the third shared exponent value, the first difference value, and the second difference value are stored in a data structure for a shared exponent floating point data type.
