  • Patent number: 11500977
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for user authentication in a three-dimensional (3D) alternative reality software application. A computing device coupled to an alternative reality viewing device generates a 3D virtual environment for display in the alternative reality viewing device, the 3D virtual environment comprising a plurality of 3D objects. The computing device identifies a subset of the plurality of 3D objects selected by the user of the alternative reality viewing device. The computing device captures a first set of actions of the user with respect to the subset of 3D objects, including recording a sequence of the first set of actions. The computing device generates a multidimensional authentication credential for the user based upon the first set of actions and stores the multidimensional authentication credential in a database.

  • Patent number: 11502494
Abstract: A cable spacer includes first and second angle arms each having a cable engaging end at one end and a flat tab portion at an opposite end having a connecting tab and an aperture to connect the arms to each other. An insulator extends between and connects the angle arms at their respective connecting tabs. The insulator has a non-conductive core. The angle arms and insulator mounted to each other define a spacer plane. A bottom arm is mounted to and depends from insulator. The bottom arm is mounted to the insulator to sway into and out of the spacer plane. A clamp secures the cable spacer to a messenger and includes upper and lower clamp portions. The upper clamp portion mounts to the messenger and the lower clamp portion mounts to cable spacer angle arms. The lower clamp portion is rotatable relative to the upper clamp portion.

  • Patent number: 11503092
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for generating a video stream preview. One of the methods includes receiving, from a user device, a request for a video stream preview. A payload of data is transmitted from a session system to the user device over a network. A first measure of network transmission quality is determined based on a result of transmitting the payload to the user device over the network from the session system. A second measure of network transmission quality is determined for data transmitted over the network from a session host to the session system. A video stream preview is generated from an example video stream obtained from the user device by degrading the quality of the example video stream according to the first measure of network transmission quality and the second measure of network transmission quality. The video stream preview is displayed on the user device.

  • Patent number: 11500757
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for the automated identification of causal relationships between a selected set of trigger events and observed abnormal conditions in a monitored computer system. On the detection of a trigger event, a focused, recursive search for recorded abnormalities in reported measurement data, topological changes or transaction load is started to identify operating conditions that explain the trigger event. The system also receives topology data from deployed agents which is used to create and maintain a topological model of the monitored system. The topological model is used to restrict the search for causal explanations of the trigger event to elements of that have a connection or interact with the element on which the trigger event occurred. This assures that only monitoring data of elements is considered that are potentially involved in the causal chain of events that led to the trigger event.
