Abstract: A system or method for tracking items proximate a user interface device include a user interface device having at least one solid-state touch-sensitive region and a receiver for wirelessly receiving a signal from at least one item to determine proximity of the item relative to the user interface device. The device may also include a display screen for displaying controls and information. The user interface device may be permanently or removably mounted in a vehicle and used to interface with vehicle systems and personal electronic devices. Tracked items or objects may include passive or active data tags and communicate identification information and optionally position information. The device may alert the user to movement of tracked objects, and/or confirm presence of a group of objects. The device may use various wired or wireless devices to control selections and/or a cursor on the display.
Abstract: A glass composition is provided that includes about 55.0 to 60.4% by weight SiO2, about 19.0 to 25.0% by weight Al2O3, about 8.0 to 15.0% by weight MgO, about 7 to 12.0% by weight CaO, less than 0.5% by weight Li2O, 0.0 to about 1.0% by weight Na2O, and 0 to about 1.5% by weight TiO2. The glass composition has a fiberizing temperature of no greater than about 2,500° F. Glass fibers formed from the inventive composition may be used in applications that require high stiffness, and low weight. Such applications include woven fabrics for use in forming wind blades and aerospace structures.

Abstract: A system includes an assembly, a pinhole array, and a processor. The assembly includes a K by L photodetector array comprising a plurality of photodetectors and configured to detect light that exits a body at a second location after the light enters the body at a first location different than the second location and scatters within the body, and output a plurality of electronic signals representative of the detected light as a function of time. The pinhole array has a K by L array of pinholes configured to be aligned with the photodetectors and is configured to allow a certain amount of light to be incident upon each of the photodetectors. The processor is configured to generate a correlation map that includes a plurality of spatiotemporal correlation measure values corresponding to the light detected by the photodetector array.
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure can facilitate managing a computing device. The computing device can be a managed device that is managed by a device management server. In some embodiments, the system includes a generation module and an interface module. The generation module may be configured to receive a site location for the computing device, identify an address of the device management server, and generate an optical representation of a configuration based on the site location and the address. The interface module may be configured to provide the optical representation to the computing device and receive a communication from the computing device, the communication corresponding to the configuration.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for establishing a video connection between a client device and a support terminal while enabling the support terminal to concurrently push display element triggers to the client device through a separate connection. In particular, a display element trigger can cause the client device to display, within a dual pane display of the client device, a display element within one pane and a video chat in another pane. The display element can include a check deposit element that enables a user of the client device to capture one or more images of a check and then transmit the image(s) for deposit by the support terminal during a video chat. The support terminal can analyze the image(s) of the check to identify check deposit data and then deposit the check accordingly while a support representative communicates with the user of the client device via the video chat.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes aspects of adaptive energy limiting for transient noise suppression. In some aspects, an adaptive energy limiter sets a limiter ceiling for an audio signal to full scale and receives a portion of the audio signal. For the portion of the audio signal, the adaptive energy limiter determines a maximum amplitude and evaluates the portion with a neural network to provide a voice likelihood estimate. Based on the maximum amplitude and the voice likelihood estimate, the adaptive energy limiter determines that the portion of the audio signal includes noise. In response to determining that the portion of the audio signal includes noise, the adaptive energy limiter decreases the limiter ceiling and provides the limiter ceiling to a limiter module effective to limit an amount of energy of the audio signal. This may be effective to prevent audio signals from carrying full energy transient noise into conference audio.

Abstract: Techniques for employing a secure enclave to enhance the security of a system that makes use of a remote server that proxies cryptographic keys. In one technique, a proxy server receives a request for a cryptographic operation that is initiated by a client device. The request includes a key name of a cryptographic key and an authentication code. In response, the proxy server sends the authentication code and the request to a secure enclave that is associated with a cryptographic device that stores the cryptographic key. The secure enclave validates the authentication code based on a local key and sends, to the cryptographic device, (1) data associated with the secure enclave and (2) the cryptographic request. The proxy server receives result data that was generated by the cryptographic device that performs the cryptographic operation. The proxy server sends the result data to the client device.
Abstract: A computer system can conduct corresponding natural language dialogs with multiple computer-readable profiles using a computer proxy messaging bot. For example, a first set of natural language instructions can be received via a computer messaging proxy bot from a first computer-readable profile. The first set of natural language instructions can be analyzed via the proxy bot. Also, first and second natural language dialog scripts can be generated via the proxy bot using results of the analyzing of the first set of natural language instructions, with the second natural language dialog script including natural language data derived from the first set of natural language instructions. The first natural language dialog script can be sent to the first profile via the proxy bot and the second natural language dialog script can be sent to a second computer-readable profile via the proxy bot, both in response to the first set of instructions.
