Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions comprising (a) a pyridine carboxylate herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt, or ester thereof and (b) a microtubule assembly inhibitor (MAI) herbicide, an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, or mixtures thereof. Also disclosed herein are methods of controlling undesirable vegetation, comprising applying to vegetation or an area adjacent the vegetation or applying in soil or water to control the emergence or growth of vegetation (a) a pyridine carboxylate herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt, or ester thereof and (b) a microtubule assembly inhibitor (MAI) herbicide, an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof, or mixtures thereof.

Abstract: A system for facilitating lesion analysis accesses a first data structure comprising a plurality of entries including anatomic location information and annotation information associated with a plurality of lesions represented in a first set of cross-sectional images. The system displays a respective representation of each of the plurality of entries and presents a second set of cross-sectional images. The system receives user input triggering selection of a particular entry of the plurality of entries of the first data structure.

Abstract: A gesture definition is provided for intuitively interacting with applications on a multi-screen device. The gesture is defined by one or more user motions signaling a user intent to perform an action on an object based on a context within the multi-screen environment. Unlike traditional gestures, the defined gesture is “context aware.” That is, the gesture may initiate different actions in different contexts. Actions responsive to the gesture include opening an application, sharing data between applications (e.g., cut/paste), and/or attaching files (e.g., to a mail message). App developers can define custom actions responsive to the gesture for particular applications. Avoiding cumbersome, multi-step user inputs and interactions, the actions defined for the gesture may be performed automatically.

Abstract: A seat post assembly for a bicycle includes a first tube having a first distal end and a second tube having a second distal end. A distance between the first distal end of the first tube and the second distal end of the second tube is at a maximum when the first tube is in a first position relative to the second tube. The seat post assembly also includes a first chamber and a second chamber that are fluidly coupleable. The first chamber is a positive fluid chamber, and the second chamber is a negative fluid chamber. The seat post assembly includes a fluid volume disposed in the first chamber and the second chamber. The fluid volume includes a compressible fluid. The first chamber is configured to act as a spring configured to bias the first tube towards the first position relative to the second tube.

Abstract: A dielectric assembly solid dielectric elements within a liquid or solid matrix material. The dielectric assembly may be manufactured by pressing a dielectric powder to form pressed dielectric elements, sintering the pressed dielectric elements to form the solid dielectric elements, and assembling the solid dielectric elements within the matrix material to form the dielectric assembly. The solid dielectric elements can be specifically oriented (e.g., in one or more tiled layers) or randomly oriented, and the dielectric assemblies can be molded and/or machined into desired 3D geometries. The dielectric assemblies can be relatively large (e.g., >1 mm3) while having bulk dielectric constants higher than conventional slurries and composites formed of dielectric powder in a liquid or solid matrix.

Abstract: A multi-chamber impeller pump includes an impeller, circumferentially spaced cams defining an impeller chamber, and circumferentially spaced evacuation ports. Each cam includes an engagement edge, an arcuate cam surface sloping radially inward, and a lobe. Each evacuation port is proximal to an intersection of a respective arcuate cam surface and lobe. As the impeller rotates, a corresponding end of a leading blade contacts a respective engagement edge and then a corresponding end of a trailing blade contacts the respective engagement edge thereby forming a unit chamber between leading and trailing blades. As the impeller continues to rotate, the end of the leading blade contacts a respective lobe and displaces the leading blade to decrease the volume of the unit chamber and expel fluid from the unit chamber through a respective evacuation port. A method of using the multi-chamber impeller pump is also disclosed.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that may cause a processor to identify a privilege level assigned to a principal over a resource and determine whether the assigned privilege level is to be maintained or modified for the principal over the resource. Based on a determination that the assigned privilege level is to be maintained for the principal, the processor may determine whether access by the principal over the resource is to be limited and based on a determination that access to the resource is to be limited, apply a limited access by the principal over the resource.

Abstract: A downhole tubular system including a tubular defining a wall having an inner radial surface and an outer radial surface, the outer radial surface having a circumferential channel formed therein extending 360 degrees defining a punch portion, the inner radial surface defining an inner bore; a sleeve attachable around the tubular; and at least a portion of a control fluid chamber passageway defined between the sleeve and the outer radial surface, the wall occluding fluidic communication between the control line passageway and the inner bore until the punch portion has been punctured.

Abstract: A method of leveraging a dialogue history of a conversational computing interface to execute an updated dialogue plan. The method comprises maintaining an annotated dialogue history of the conversational computing interface. The annotated dialogue history includes a plurality of traced steps defining a data-flow including input data used to execute a context-dependent operation and output data recorded from a previous execution of the context-dependent operation. The method further comprises recognizing an updated dialogue plan including a prefix of executable steps and an updated executable step following the prefix. The method further comprises automatically computer-recognizing that the prefix of executable steps of the updated dialogue plan matches a corresponding prefix of traced steps in the annotated dialogue history. The method further comprises re-using the data-flow from the prefix of traced steps in the annotated dialogue history to automatically determine input data of the updated executable step.

Abstract: During operation, a mesh network access point (MAP) may communicate, via multiple mesh paths in a mesh network with the one or more root access points (RAPs), uplink packets or frames to or from at least two electronic devices. Notably, at a given time, the MAP uses a first mesh path in the mesh paths to communicate a first subset of the uplink packets or frames associated with a first electronic device in the two electronic devices and uses a second (different) mesh path in the mesh paths to communicate a second subset of the uplink packets or frames associated with a second electronic device in the two electronic devices. Moreover, the MAP may dynamically distribute the first electronic device or the second electronic device over the multiple mesh paths, e.g., based at least in part on one or more communication-performance metrics of the mesh paths and/or the mesh network.

Abstract: A fishing device includes a net disposed in a body of water containing fishes. A plurality of posts, wherein each post further includes a stem, a bottom cross disposed at a lower portion of the stem; a cross bar disposed at a top end of the stem; and a cord. The stem is an upright elongated protrusion extending from under a bottom to above a surface of the body of water. The cord is slidably secured to the cross bar. A first end of the cord is secured to a weight. A second end of the cord is secured to the net. The fishing device includes a release mechanism. The release mechanism grabs a portion of the cord to hold the weight in a first position adjacent to the cross bar. A bait system is disposed at or adjacent to a center of the net.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to fiber-reinforced compressed gas storage tanks or vessels comprising one or more shells that are made by metal forming, plastic molding, braiding, filament-winding, or fiber placement. Particular embodiments employ one or more discrete pre-formed fiber-reinforced endcaps with fibers oriented in preferential angles that are integrated to the vessel end-domes to reinforce the polar openings and the dome-cylinder transition areas of the load carrying shells.

Abstract: A lighting assembly is provided that includes a light fixture in combination with a support grid such as a drop ceiling t-bar. The light fixture can be configured to use a t-bar as the main form of support. The light fixture can be push-fit onto a t-bar or use a clip to join two or more portions of the light fixture to an installed t-bar. Once attached to the T-bar, the light fixture itself can provides support for a ceiling tile. Various embodiments are provided which achieve a variety of light distributions useful in typical illumination applications. Both recessed and suspended fixture types are achieved in various embodiments which are particularly well suited for LED lighting.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for moving trailers using a trailer moving apparatus coupled to a forklift is shown and described herein. The method and apparatus for moving trailers uses a trailer moving apparatus engagably coupled to a forklift when lifted off a surface with a plurality of hitches at different heights. The method for moving trailers using a trailer moving apparatus operatively coupled to a forklift tine via a guided channel on a channel member and not requiring an operator to leave the cabin of the forklift during operation.

Abstract: A novel plasma generation and containment system includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a power source, and an electromagnet. The first electrode and the second electrode are electrically coupled via a wire to form an open circuit. The voltage is asserted on the open circuit to form a spark between the first electrode and the second electrode to form a closed circuit. Then, a current is asserted on the closed circuit to form a plasma between the first electrode and the second electrode. The electromagnet provides a magnetic field to contain and compress the plasma.

Abstract: A method of partitioning a video coding block for JVET, comprising representing a JVET coding tree unit as a root node in a quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) structure that can have a quadtree branching from the root node and binary trees branching from each of the quadtree's leaf nodes using asymmetric binary partitioning to split a coding unit represented by a quadtree leaf node into two child coding units of unequal size, representing the two child coding units as leaf nodes in a binary tree branching from the quadtree leaf node and coding the child coding units represented by leaf nodes of the binary tree with JVET, wherein further partitioning of child coding units split from quadtree leaf nodes via asymmetric binary partitioning is disallowed.

Abstract: A wall brace system for providing an apparatus for supporting a wall in a building structure, which has been moved inward by pressure from the earth outside in order to return the wall to a desired position. The wall brace system has a structural member, a retainer, a mounting assembly, a load member, a jack, and/or a locking member. A jack and/or locking member are operatively coupled between the structural member and the mounting assembly. The jack functions to exert a force against the structural member, directly or through the load member, in order to force the structural member toward the wall for shifting the wall (e.g., outwardly). The locking member functions to lock the structural member in place with respect to the mounting assembly after the jack positions the structural member. Thereafter, the jack is removed from the mounting assembly.

For example, a method may include: transmitting, to a user device over a communication network, application data enabling the user device to perform a functionality usable by a user of the user device, the user device including a camera; receiving, from the user device over the communication network, user feedback data indicative of a characteristic of image data of the user obtained by the camera during usage of the functionality by the user; inputting the value of the facial expression parameter into a machine learning model to determine an assessment of an emotional state of the user during the usage of the functionality; and providing the assessment to the customer service provider.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to antigen-binding proteins (ABPs) that specifically bind to apolipoprotein E (ApoE), compositions comprising such ABPs, methods of using such ABPs, and methods of making such ABPs. In some embodiments, the ABPs provided herein bind lipidated ApoE4. In some embodiments, the lipidated ApoE4 is within a lipoprotein particle, and the ABPs therefore bind to a lipoprotein particle comprising ApoE4. Any suitable ABP may be used. In some embodiments, the ABP is an antibody. In some embodiments, the ABP is an alternative scaffold. The ABPs provided herein may be used for the prevention or treatment of any disease, condition or disorder associated with ApoE4 expression.
