Abstract: A method of partitioning a video coding block for JVET, comprising representing a JVET coding tree unit as a root node in a quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) structure that can have a quadtree branching from the root node and binary trees branching from each of the quadtree's leaf nodes using asymmetric binary partitioning to split a coding unit represented by a quadtree leaf node into two child coding units of unequal size, representing the two child coding units as leaf nodes in a binary tree branching from the quadtree leaf node and coding the child coding units represented by leaf nodes of the binary tree with JVET, wherein further partitioning of child coding units split from quadtree leaf nodes via asymmetric binary partitioning is disallowed.

Abstract: A self-venting closure assembly includes a closure body having a deck with a peripheral mounting skirt and an annular seal on an underside of the deck adjacent to the peripheral mounting skirt. The closure body further includes a circular valve seat within the center portion of the deck, and a plurality of vent openings circumferentially spaced within the valve seat. An elastomeric umbrella valve is centrally mounted to the deck and has a frustoconical valve flap arranged on an underside of the valve seat. The valve flap cooperates with the vent openings to normally seal the vent openings but permits air to flow into an interior of the closure body when a vacuum is applied to an interior of the container on which the closure is mounted.

Abstract: In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a vehicle is provided that includes a body, a drive system, and a control system for controlling the adaptive cruise control functionality for the vehicle. The drive system is disposed within the body, and has adaptive cruise control functionality. The control system includes: one or more sensors disposed onboard the vehicle and configured to obtain sensor data for monitoring a driver of the vehicle while the vehicle is stopped during adaptive cruise control operation while a target vehicle in front of the vehicle has stopped; and a processor coupled to the one or more sensors and configured to provide instructions for automatically resuming movement of the vehicle, when the target vehicle resumes movement, based on the monitoring of the driver of the vehicle.

Abstract: An access point that determines communication boundaries is described. During operation, the access point may receive one or more probe requests associated with the one or more electronic devices, where a given probe request may include an identifier of a given electronic device. Moreover, when the access point receives the given probe request, the access point may determine a signal strength associated with the given probe request and timestamps when the given probe request was received. Then, the access point may exchange probe-request information with one or more additional access points, where the probe-request information corresponds to received probe requests. Next, the access point may compare the probe-request information to determine the communication boundaries. For example, the communication boundaries may be determined by comparing the probe-request information for pairs of access points.

Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring, detecting, and/or intervening with respect to cavitation and pulsation events during hydraulic fracturing operations may include a supervisory controller. The supervisory controller may be configured to receive pump signals indicative of one or more of pump discharge pressure, pump suction pressure, pump speed, or pump vibration associated with operation of the hydraulic fracturing pump. The supervisory controller also may be configured to receive blender signals indicative of one or more of blender flow rate or blender discharge pressure. Based on one or more of these signals, the supervisory controller may be configured to detect a cavitation event and/or a pulsation event.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for receiving media data. One apparatus includes processing circuitry that receives a media presentation description (MPD) file including an essential property descriptor that is associated with a session-based description (SBD) file and includes a key-value element. The processing circuitry determines a value in the SBD file corresponding to a key in the key-value element. The processing circuitry sends a request to a server based on the corresponding value.

Abstract: A system for processing patient data associated with a joint of a patient. The system comprising a computing device executing instructions to generate a 3D patient bone model of the joint in a non-weighted pose. The instructions rearrange 3D first and second bone models in order to mimic a weighted pose of the joint of the patient from a 2D image of the joint of the patient in a weighted pose by performing the steps of: generating a plurality of 2D projections of poses of the 3D patient bone model; comparing the plurality of 2D projections to contour lines of the first bone and the second bone in the 2D image; identifying particular 2D projections that best-fit a shape and size of the contour lines; and arranging the 3D first and second bone models relative to each other according to orientations represented by the particular 2D projections that were identified.

Abstract: The SECURE MULTI-SERVER STABILIZED DATA PACKET EXCHANGE SYSTEMS (IRFI) provide efficient, secure data communication for data communication and exchange servers. The IRFI provides increased data exchange system security and efficiency for time-rate based data package communicators. The IRFI can use artificial neural networks that include three or more layers, with at least one input layer, a hidden layer and an output layer. The IRFI can obtain listing data relating to a data package, obtain characteristic parameters associated with the data package, determine a BP metric for the data package, calculate an exposure offset value based on the BP metric for the data package, receive evaluation data from an data packet exchange system, including a SY metric and a DV metric, calculate a delivery metric for the data package based on the evaluation data, and facilitate a communication of the delivery metric.

Abstract: A quick-connector for use with an autoretroperfusion and hypothermia system and methods of using the connector. The connector comprises a coolant inlet, a coolant outlet, a coolant reservoir, a blood lumen outlet, a blood lumen inlet, and a blood lumen, whereby the coolant outlet is configured to accept a cooling product from the reservoir, the reservoir is configured to accept cooling product from the coolant inlet. Flowing blood powered by the patient's heart may enter the connector through the blood lumen inlet, travel through the blood lumen while being cooled by cooling product in the reservoir, and leave the connector through the blood lumen outlet. The temperature of blood leaving the connector can be measured at the blood lumen outlet. Catheters can be attached to the blood lumen inlet and blood lumen outlet to receive and send blood, respectively. A cooling system can be attached to the coolant inlet and coolant outlet to provide a source of cooling product.

Abstract: A method of and system for utilizing an access token to authenticate a client device for accessing a resource server include generating a session key for a communication session between the device and a resource server, deriving a nonce from the session key, and transmitting a request to an identity platform for authenticating the device to access the resource server, where the request includes the nonce. Upon confirmation of authentication, the method and system may include receiving an access token from the identity platform, the access token including information that confirms authentication of the device, and transmitting the access token to the resource server to enable access to the resource server, where the access token includes the nonce.

Abstract: A reservoir assembly that holds a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation in a reservoir includes a reservoir assembly connector assembly defining a connector conduit, and which may be configured to detachably couple with a non-nicotine vaporizer assembly based on a connector element of the non-nicotine vaporizer assembly engaging with the connector conduit of the connector conduit. The reservoir assembly may include an isolation structure configured to move in relation to both the reservoir and the non-nicotine vaporizer connector assembly between a first position where the isolation structure exposes the non-nicotine vaporizer assembly to the reservoir and at least partially obstructs the connector conduit to restrict the connector element from disengaging from the connector conduit, and a second position where the isolation structure isolates the non-nicotine vaporizer assembly from the reservoir and opens the connector conduit to enable the connector element to disengage from the connector conduit.

Abstract: Disclosed herein includes a safening composition comprising an herbicidally effective amount of (a) at least one phenoxy herbicide, or an agriculturally acceptable salts, esters, and amides thereof; (b) at least one safener from quinolinyloxyacetate family of chemicals, or agriculturally acceptable salts, esters and amides thereof, wherein the weight ratio of the at least one phenoxy herbicide to cloquintocet is from about 500:1 to about 1:1. Herbicidal injury caused by a phenoxy herbicide in wheat and barley is reduced with the use of low rates of cloquintocet.

Abstract: In a box system for storing bottles therein that includes a box, at least one longitudinal divider sheet and at least one latitudinal divider sheet. The divider sheets each consist of a non-corrugated absorbent high density wood pulpboard having a thickness in a range of between 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm and a basis weight in a range of between 410 gsm to 1240 gsm. The divider sheets are divided into a plurality of coaster units. Each coaster unit is printed with collateral branding indicia. Furthermore, each of the N delay gates as well as the input and output gates of the multiplexer are characterized by a common capacitance-to-propagation delay ratio=C1/t1.

In one aspect, the precursor comprises a compound represented by one of following Formulae A through E below: In one particular embodiment, the organoaminosilane precursors are effective for a low temperature (e.g., 350° C. or less), atomic layer deposition (ALD) or plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) of a silicon-containing film. In addition, described herein is a composition comprising an organoaminosilane described herein wherein the organoaminosilane is substantially free of at least one selected from the amines, halides (e.g., Cl, F, I, Br), higher molecular weight species, and trace metals.
