Publication number: 20250039693Abstract: The following processing is performed in the learning phase. The base station device transmits a control signal toward the relay device. The relay device dynamically selects a phase weight that determines the beam direction of the reflected wave according to the set value. A channel state of the CH2 is estimated from a low-frequency CH2 reference signal that has arrived at the base station device from the terminal device. The communication quality of the CH1 is measured from the high-frequency CH1 reference signal that has arrived at the base station device from the terminal device. A learning model is generated by learning the set value, the channel state, and the communication quality. In the estimation phase, the latest channel state acquired by the CH2 is applied to the learning model, and an optimum set value predicted to maximize the communication quality under the latest state is estimated.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2021Publication date: January 30, 2025Applicant: NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE CORPORATIONInventors: Masashi IWABUCHI, Riku OMIYA, Tatsuhiko IWAKUNI, Tomoaki OGAWA, Yasushi TAKATORI

Publication number: 20250034460Abstract: Carbon nanofiber doped alumina (Al-CNF) supported MoCo catalysts in hydrodesulfurization (HDS), and/or boron doping, e.g., up to 5 wt % of total catalyst weight, can improve catalytic efficiency. Al-CNF-supported MoCo catalysts, (Al-CNF-MoCo), can reduce the sulfur concentration in fuel, esp. liquid fuel, to below the required limit in a 6 h reaction time. Thus, Al-CNF-MoCo has a higher catalytic activity than Al—MoCo, which may be explained by higher mesoporous surface area and better dispersion of MoCo metals on the AlCNF support relative to alumina support. The BET surface area of Al—MoCo may be 75% less than Al-CNF-MoCo, e.g., 166 vs. 200 m2/g. SEM images indicate that the catalyst nanoparticles can be evenly distributed on the surface of the CNF. The surface area of the AlMoCoB 5% may be 206 m2/g, which is higher than AlMoCoB 0% and AlMoCoB 2%, and AlMoCoB 5% has the highest HDS activity, removing more than 98% sulfur and below allowed levels.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2024Publication date: January 30, 2025Applicant: King Fahd University of Petroleum and MineralsInventors: Tawfik Abdo Saleh AWADH, Saddam Ahmed AL-HAMMADI
