Abstract: A solvent supply unit of a substrate processing device is disposed at a position higher than an opening of an upper surface of a processing tank, and supplies a mist-like solvent from an outside of the processing tank toward an inside of the processing tank in plan view. When a substrate is immersed in processing liquid, a control unit performs a solvent supply operation of decompressing an inside of the chamber and supplying the mist-like solvent from the solvent supply unit. In a solvent supply state in which the inside of the chamber is decompressed and the solvent is supplied, the control unit causes a lifter to take out the substrate from the processing liquid in the processing tank, and then opens a QDR valve to discharge the processing liquid from the processing tank. In the solvent supply state, the control unit causes the lifter to lower the substrate to a lower position in the processing tank in which the processing liquid is not stored, and then causes the lifter to raise the substrate.

A lubricant tank (41) and a conduit (45) are configured to duct a flow of lubricant from the tank (41) to the cutting unit (3, 5). The lubrication monitoring system (15) comprises a heating element (29) and a sensor arrangement (31, 33), the heating element (29) being configured to heat the lubricant flow. The sensor arrangement comprises a first sensor (31) located at the flow, upstream of the heating element (29), and a second sensor (33) located at said flow, downstream of the heating element. The lubrication monitoring system outputs a monitoring signal based on a sensed temperature difference between the first and second sensors (31, 33).

The movement seat is disposed on the adjustment seat and allowed to generate a relative rising and lowering movement. The first workbench is combined with the movement seat. The fix seat is disposed on another end of the base. The second workbench is combined with the fix seat. The reinforcement device is disposed on the base and connected with the adjustment seat. Therefore, the structural strength of the adjustment seat disposed on the base is improved.
Abstract: An apparatus tears, breaks or divides into several parts the casing of capsules and/or pods containing coffee or other infusions, which allows the organic part contained therein to be separated from the recyclable part, consisting of the casing made of aluminum or plastic. The apparatus includes a perforated basket directly connected to a pipe arranged at the top, for feeding the empty pods or capsules, conforming the geometry of the system to eliminate the feeding pipe arranged by the side (which was subject to constant dirtying by the organic contents subjected to centrifugal force). The basket contains a tearing unit and has at least one opening at the top, the size and shape of which adjust the stay time of the capsules in the perforated basket or separation compartment. A cleaning unit cleans externally the perforated basket from the residues, which obstruct the side holes of the perforated basket.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for digesting biodegradable packaging waste and an apparatus thereof. Specifically, the present invention relates to a method of treating biodegradable packaging waste prior to subjecting the biodegradable packaging waste to a biological valorisation process and an apparatus thereof. The apparatus includes a tank for receiving the biodegradable packaging waste therein, the tank comprises a top portion and a bottom portion below the top portion, an air supply module adapted to supply air into the tank, a microbe injector adapted to inject mesophilic microbe into the tank, such that the tank is adapted to receive the biodegradable packaging waste, air and mesophilic microbe therein, wherein the biodegradable packaging waste is subjected to mesophilic aerobic digestion prior to conveying the biodegradable packaging waste from the tank to a biological valorisation system to subject the biodegradable packaging waste to the biological valorisation process.

Abstract: An orthodontic appliance made by a thermal forming process is provided. The thermal forming process can include heating a thermoformable material using a plurality of independently controllable heat sources. The plurality of independently controllable heat sources can produce at least one overlapping heating zone. The thermal forming process can further include monitoring one or more temperatures from a plurality of temperature sensing elements operably coupled to different areas of the thermoformable material. The thermal forming process can further include adjusting power of one or more of the plurality of independently controllable heat sources based on the one or more monitored temperatures such that each of the different areas of the thermoformable material reaches a respective desired temperature. The thermal forming process can further include disposing the heated thermoformable material over at least a portion of a mold to form the orthodontic appliance.
Abstract: A method for producing a seam on a workpiece made of flat material using a bending machine is disclosed. The bending machine comprises a first clamping jaw, a second clamping jaw that is mounted movably relative to the first clamping jaw and configured to clamp, together with the first clamping jaw, the workpiece in a clamping plane, and a bending unit that is arranged on one of the clamping jaws and has a bending tool, the bending unit being configured to bend a portion of the workpiece by moving the bending tool relative to the associated clamping jaw to form a fold. The method comprises producing a pre-seam on the workpiece such that it is located in an area in front of the clamping jaws, comprising forming a fold, wherein the pre-seam extends at an angle relative to the clamping plane, and changing the angle by displacing the bending tool.

Abstract: A process of preparing an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) anti-wear composite material modified by a manganese phosphate nanosheet is as follows: a trihydrate manganese phosphate nanosheet and UHMWPE powder are prepared firstly, and then the trihydrate manganese phosphate nanosheet is mechanically mixed with UHMWPE powder to form mixed powder; finally, the mixed powder is heated, molded, melted, and solidified using a hot-pressing method; and after cooling and demolding, the modified UHMWPE anti-wear composite material is obtained. Since the trihydrate manganese phosphate nanosheet can form a manganese phosphate film during a friction process, the manganese phosphate film can effectively reduce the deformation and tearing of friction surfaces of materials, thereby improving the anti-friction and anti-wear performance of UHMWPE. The friction coefficient, wear depth, and width of the UHMWPE anti-wear composite material under dry friction conditions are significantly improved.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for an event detection system that captures data associated with events while a DC casting system forms an ingot, determines characteristics of the events, and improves the casting system based on the events. Example systems and methods may include initiating a casting operation using one or more pieces of equipment of a casting system including a casting apparatus; capturing sensor data associated with one or more acoustic signals captured relative to the one or more pieces of equipment performing the casting operation; comparing the sensor data with a set of acoustic profiles; determining whether a particular type of event has occurred; causing an adjustment to the casting system or to the casting operation based on whether the particular type of event has occurred; and initiating a second casting operation using the adjusted casting system or casting operation.
