Abstract: A method and an apparatus for transmitting an EHT PPDU to a WLAN system are proposed. Specifically, a transmitter generates and transmits an EHT PPDU to a receiver through a 320 MHz band from which an 80 MHz band is punctured. The EHT PPDU includes a legacy preamble and an EHT field. The legacy preamble includes an L-STF and an L-LTF. The legacy preamble is generated by applying a first phase rotation value. The first phase rotation value is obtained on the basis of a second phase rotation value and a third phase rotation value. The second phase rotation value is a phase rotation value that repeats a phase rotation value defined for the 80 MHz band in an 802.11ax system. The third phase rotation value is a phase rotation value defined in unit of the 80 MHz band in the 320 MHz band on the basis of an optimal PAPR of the L-STF and L-LTF. The first phase rotation value is [1 1 ?1 ?1 ?j ?j j j 1 1 ?1 ?1 ?j ?j j j].

Abstract: A system and method for algorithmic selection of a consensus from a collection of ideas is disclosed. A group of ideas is provided to a group of participants for voting. Voting may occur in a single round or in several successive rounds, optionally until a consensus idea is chosen. Typically, the votes that are cast use discrete levels, such as “approve”, “disapprove”, “positive”, “neutral” or “negative”. For ideas that receive the same votes, a differentiator may be the time spent casting the vote. A relatively long evaluation time may signal some internal conflict in the mind of the participant, when compared with a relatively short evaluation time, which may signal no such conflict. The evaluation time may be combined with the rating of the participant to form a weighted rating. Consequently, a short evaluation time of a positive rating may yield a more positive weighted rating, while a short evaluation time of a negative rating may yield a more negative weighted rating.

  • Publication number: 20250144426
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed using a Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) to treat conditions impacted by the splanchnic bed. For example, heart failure can be treated by increasing the recruitment of blood volume to the organs in a patient's splanchnic bed, thus alleviating stress on the heart. When employed in this context, non-destructive stimulation is preferably provided to the dorsal horn in the patient's spinal column, which modulates the intermediolateral nucleus (IML) that includes sympathetic pre-ganglionic neurons (SPNs) that ultimately affect the sympathetic nervous system of splanchnic nerves innervating the splanchnic bed. Use of the IPG can be supplemented by use of a sensor, such as a peripheral blood pressure sensor, which can be used to assess the effectiveness of the stimulation in modulating the recruitment of blood volume in the splanchnic bed, and to provide closed loop control of the IPG.

Abstract: Blood flow rates can be calculated using diffuse speckle contrast analysis in spatial and time domains. In the spatial domain analysis, a multi-pixel image sensor can be used to detect a spatial distribution of speckles in a sample caused by diffusion of light from a coherent light source that is blurred due to the movement of scatterers within the sample (e.g., red blood cells moving within a tissue sample). Statistical analysis of the spatial distribution can be used to calculate blood flow. In the time domain analysis, a slow counter can be used to obtain time-series fluctuations in light intensity in a sample caused by diffusion of light in the sample that is smoothened due to the movement of scatterers. Statistical analysis of the time-series data can be used to calculate blood flow.
