Abstract: A method and a device for computer-aided regulation of rotational speed of a reel spool, when paying out (and reeling in) an on-wound line. The line surface is surveyed by digital imaging and/or an electronic distance measuring device; and incidents of line rising from the spool are captured and reported to an on-board computer which, proportionally to such input, orders variable engaging/releasing of braking force to the brake(s) of the reel to avert backlash.

Abstract: A method and a device for communication/control of access, the term access including access to services and or goods. According to the invention should a person wishing to use the method for obtaining access establish contact via telephone with machine or called person (B-replier); as a following step should said person, verbally or by signalling via existing keypad, request access; and as a subsequently following step evaluates contacted machine/person (B-replier) whether or not the request for access should be accepted; and as a final step, on accepted received information from the calling person, initiates called machine or person (B-replier) performance of relevant action by signalling to the required unit.

Abstract: A computer input device for inputting graphical location data and alphanumerical data. The device is arranged with a keypad for the input of the alphanumerical data. According to the invention, keys of the keypad are not only used for input by means of individually enacted keys, but also for input by means of two or more simultaneously enacted adjacent or non-adjacent keys, thereby enhancing the gamut of input considerably. Furthermore, a user may also set the keypad in a number of modes, (e.g. Non-Shifted mode, Shift mode, Num mode and Num-Lock mode), thereby further enhancing the input capability considerably. Advantageously, certain keys may also be given a user programmable function.

Abstract: A method and a device for utilization of mobile radio telephones for surveillance and/or control purposes in which a radio unit (3) for reception of signals from mobile radio telephones is arranged to be activated in a first step by an incoming signal from a mobile radio telephone, as a second step analysing the first part of received signal with regard to the PIN/SIM number (or corresponding) and/or inputted call number during the handshaking procedure between the mobile radio telephone and an associated base station for comparison with preprogrammed corresponding information, and as a third step, when correspondence has been established, initiate preprogrammed procedures and/or actions, and if non-correspondence is established, return to “resting” and non-activated condition pending a signal inputted from a mobile radio telephone.

Abstract: A programmatic organisation method, or concept, for augmented use of a standardized keyboard, capable of detecting depression/touching of single keys as well as simultaneously depressed/touched combinations of keys. According to the invention, simultaneous depression/touching of two or more adjacently or non-adjacently located keys of said keyboard is decoded as a predetermined character, symbol, note, action etc., whereby the input capability of the keyboard is considerably enhanced. Advantageously are predetermined functions, e.g. a “shift” (“CAP”) or num lock function by predetermined single keys or predetermined key combinations, i.e. the input capability can thus be enhanced even further, each such function resulting in a new and independent input capability The keyboard may advantageously be a conventional numerical 3×4 keyboard.

Abstract: A method for entrance telephone communication utilizing public subscriber telephone networks, in which at least part of the subscribers connected to the entrance telephone system are arranged having a telecommunication subscription facilitating that the subscriber is billed for received and switched through entrance telephone calls, preferably with the charges shown in the conventional telephone bill and/or with at least the call charges paid by sponsor/advertiser. Calling operations from the entrance telephone set are performed with a prefix indicating call of the type “called party pays” with the entrance telephone set accepted for initiation of such calls. Alternatively, subscribers connected to the entrance telephone system are treated as “020-subscribers” with regard to call charges for calls from the entrance telephone set.

According to the invention, a subscriber can, preferably by means of dial-up and/or input, preferably via an existing keypad at the telephone instrument/terminal of the subscriber, of a predetermined booking number/code be given possibility to state a desired time period for a temporary telephone number/address, the subscriber after completed ordering operation preferably receiving a verbal message related to allocated temporary telephone number/address, which during the time period facilitates preferably incoming calls/communication, preferably without influencing the possibility of incoming and outgoing calls/communication with use of the normal telephone number/address of the subscriber.
