Patent number: 10611346Abstract: A vehicle leveler spacer and method of using the vehicle leveler spacer that may be selectively attached to a retracted leveler of a vehicle, such as a trailer or motor home. The spacer at least partially supports the vehicle upon extension of the leveler to the ground. The spacer includes at least one connector to selectively connect the spacer to the retracted leveler. The spacer may include one or more drain holes. The connector may be a magnet, strap, clamp, or another mechanical connector. The top surface of the spacer may include a rim along its perimeter configured to retain a pad of a leveler. The spacer may form a gap between the bottom surface and a supporting surface, e.g. the ground, when the spacer is connected to a retracted leveler. The connectors enable the spacer to be quickly attached or removed from a retracted leveler of a vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2019Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: ANDERSEN MANUFACTURING, INC.Inventor: Ryan B. Patent number: 7222510Abstract: Systems and methods for using an extrusion, forging, casting and/or machining process to provide an aluminum hitch component with increased strength that eliminates encumbrances, such as rusting and fusing, associated with traditional hitch components. Accordingly, an extruded hitch is provided that includes increased tensile strength, does not rust, is lighter, and is more appealing to consumers.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2006Date of Patent: May 29, 2007Assignee: Andersen Manufacturing, Inc.Inventor: John I. Patent number: 4684129Abstract: Basketball standard and adjustable support strut therefor, wherein backboard can be raised and lowered, as needed, to achieve the correct or chosen height of the backboard above a playing surface. The strut structure incorporated in or added to the basketball standard structure is self-adjusting and self-locking upon the user simply moving vertically the basketball backboard. The strut includes a pair of telescoping tubular members provided with an appropriately contoured side-aperture and a pin mechanism riding in such aperture such that the strut can be lengthened a maximum amount, thus lowering the backboard; subsequently, the backboard is raised a selected distance such that the pin mechanism engages a chosen detent recess. Camming surfaces are provided with the pin mechanism so as to facilitate appropriate pin movement. The strut construction can also be employed in other constructions as may be desired.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 1986Date of Patent: August 4, 1987Assignee: Andersen Manufacturing, Inc.Inventors: Robert L.
