Patent number: 9958307Abstract: A liquid dosing device for use with a liquid dispenser that includes a container for holding liquid in communication with a dispenser base, an outlet port for dispensing the liquid. The liquid dosing device includes a valve housing, a reservoir and a dosing cup. The valve housing is mounted to the dispenser base and includes an open top, an outlet port and a blocking region. The reservoir is mounted within the valve housing and includes at least one inlet port in communication with the dispenser base outlet port and at least one outlet port. The dosing cup is movably mounted within the valve housing in fluid communication with the reservoir and includes at least one inlet port in fluid communication with the reservoir outlet port, a blocking region, at least one outlet port and mechanism for moving the dosing cup between a fill position and a dose position to prevent spillage of the liquid being dispensed, or to dispense the liquid in defined quantities.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2016Date of Patent: May 1, 2018Assignee: Anderson Chemical CompanyInventors: Leif Anderson, Jim Alsleben, Jamie Brekke, Alex Carlson, Kurt Regenbrecht

Patent number: 7658213Abstract: A discharge valve for a bottle or other container associated with a fluid dispensing system that substantially prevents spillage of fluid composition from the container when it is withdrawn from the dispensing system is provided according to the invention. A valve body contained within the discharge valve is engaged by a hollow probe extending from the dispensing system when the container is operatively connected to the discharge system to automatically open the valve. When the container is withdrawn from the fluid dispensing system for, e.g., replacement or servicing, the probe of the dispensing system disengages the valve body, and a biasing means such as a compression spring within the valve assembly closes the valve very quickly.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2006Date of Patent: February 9, 2010Assignee: Anderson Chemical CompanyInventors: Leif E. Patent number: 5363865Abstract: The present invention is a washing apparatus suited for use in washing outside surfaces of vehicles. Fluid is conducted along a conduit that is mounted to a support structure so as to permit selected displacements thereof along a longitudinal axis of the conduit and selected rotations thereof about the longitudinal axis. The fluid conducted through the conduit can be conducted through at least one of a plurality of nozzles that are mounted to the conduit. The conduit is selectively reciprocated along the longitudinal axis by a first driving device. In addition, the conduit is rotated about the longitudinal axis by a second driving device. As the conduit is displaced both about and along the longitudinal axis, the fluid forced through the nozzle is directed toward the outside surface of an object to be washed.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 1993Date of Patent: November 15, 1994Assignee: Anderson Chemical CompanyInventor: Shadley F.
