Patents Assigned to ANDRITZ FRAUTECH S.R.L.
  • Patent number: 10960410
Abstract: A disc stack separator and an accelerator disc for a disc stack separator, especially a centrifugal nozzle separator, has curved blades mounted on a cone-shaped shell. The blade configuration assists in directing flow to space for the nozzles in the centrifugal separator bowl in an optimal manner, thus reducing the power consumption of the separator.

  • Patent number: 10850288
Abstract: A centrifugal separator, especially disc stack separator for separation of a suspension or mixture, has a feeding unit with an inlet and a stationary pipe. The pipe extends longitudinally from the top of the centrifugal separator through a stack of filter discs and has an opening directed to the accelerator disc a separator bowl of the centrifugal separator. The feed pipe is corrugated with spiral grooves running in the longitudinal direction of the pipe. The suspension flow is directed in the direction of rotation of the separator bowl and a soft infeed of the suspension to the accelerator disc and bowl without mechanically destroying particles or molecules of the suspension or mixture is achieved.

  • Patent number: 10507473
Abstract: The invention relates to a centrifugal separator bowl (4) for a nozzle separator (1). It is primarily characterized in that the bowl (4) is manufactured from one single piece and has an interior comprising pyramidal wall openings (12) pointing to openings (10) for the nozzles (11). The invention further relates to a centrifugal separator (1) using such centrifugal separator bowl (4). With such design a treatment of suspensions with high specific gravity, including of up to 2.0 and beyond is possible.

  • Patent number: 9856879
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for drawing off fluid of a centrifugation device, particularly for separating at least one fluid, with a disk (10) with channels (12, 12?). It is characterized by adjustable vanes. This allows to change the property of the disk and thus treat liquids with different properties without disassembling the separator. Therefore there is no dead time during working time and an easy adjustment of the disk.

  • Publication number: 20160001303
Abstract: The invention relates to an outlet nozzle assembly (10) for use with a rotor of a centrifuge, especially for a nozzle separator (1), consisting of a cylindrical nozzle holder (11) to be mounted into a bore (12) in the bowl (4) of the centrifuge (1), a nozzle (13) to be fixed to the nozzle holder (11) and a wear tube (14) fitted into the nozzle (13). It is mainly characterized in that the nozzle (13) is mounted from the outside to the nozzle holder (11), the nozzle (13) has an axis (21) arranged in an acute angle (?) to the normal to the axis (20) of the bore (12) in the bowl (4) and that the opening (23) to the nozzle (13) is arranged asymmetrically in the nozzle holder (11), i.e., at a distance from the axis (20). With such a design high concentrated mineral suspension can be treated in a centrifuge (1) to separate different fractions of solids.
