Abstract: Provided herein is an anesthesia station for at least one laboratory animal, including an anesthesia area connected to at least one peripheral receiving the laboratory animal. The anesthesia area is able to supply the peripheral with, halogenated anesthetic gases. The station further includes a system for aspirating the halogenated gases from the peripheral and at least one filter having a determined organohalogen concentration retention capacity. The filter is arranged in such a way as to be crossed by the halogenated anesthetic gases from the peripheral during operation of the aspiration system. The station also includes a system for the automatic determination in real-time of the organohalogen saturation rate of the filter.
